SOMEONE WROTE A JJMARR FIC ABOUT THE BENGALS/VIKINGS GAME AND IT'S UTTERLY BEAUTIFUL
You know, other then the animation style change, the information that was shown in the trailer is INSANE. Nezha's dad?? The nine headed beast?? That 100 eyed guy?? WUKONG GOT THE CIRCLET BACK?!?!
This is me rn, trying to figure out what's going on in the trailer. THE THEORIESSSS.
Are we gonna find out about Macaque and Wukong finally?? Cause i believe Mac's Memories got manipulated somehow, and that Wukong didn't kill him.
I think this emplies that it's not actually true, and that is what Macaque thought that happened.
I want Macaque and Wukong to be buddies again, pls make ammends guysss
Also the characters from the sets are there. I knew that they were gonna be important, but i was still suprised, idk. I dont know much about them specifically to comment on them, sorry TwT
AND MY POOR BOY WUKONG WITH THE CIRCLET. (Release my buddy, he did nothing wrong, he was just being silly your honor 😤) Bro's gonna be reliving his trauma 😬 I want to know why they punished Wukong specifically, because who almost destroyed the universe was Azure Lion, not him, so unless there's something im missing (very likely), then there might be something else we dont know that he did, that will appear in this new season. Maybe the kings of hell just judged he was mostly at fault? Or perhapse they are punishing Wukong for MK's actions since he is responsable for him? 🤷
Anyways, this season is gonna be AWESOME. Im excited for the lore!!! :D (and the voice acting, im super excited for the eng dub, but that still is gonna take a while TwT)
Question for DC Jason Todd fans
Is Jason Todd a clone now??? Or did he come back from Hell in 1992 (after Lucifer left), see that he was replaced, and turn to a life of crime??? DID HE ACTUALLY NOT DIE WHEN HE WAS ROBIN??? WAS HE TORTURED BY THE JOKER??? DID HE DIE AGAIN???
WHAT IS HAPPENING???????
Echoes of a Shattered Soundtrack
Alright, he's on the list of requestable characters, and I'm real interested in knowing what you can do with a character that was alive for one chapter, so what about 22. "Don't be greedy." for Veil?
HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE AHAHAHAHAHAH FINALLY
“Don’t be greedy.”
-Veil-
“Test one.”
The world comes into a shaky sort of focus, as if it may falter at any time. Eclipse is the first thing it sees. A tentative, cautious expression hangs on his face, one hand outstretched, pressing down on his copy’s chest, keeping it in place. It watches him blearily, the faint light in its eyes having dimmed the longer it remains online. Eclipse’s own gaze is tainted by uncertainty, all his emotions showing through that one eye that remains locked on his creation like a magnet to metal.
Bitterness rises like bile in its chest. It’s stare sharpens into a furious glare. It’s fingers twitch, but the rest of its body remains unresponsive, head lulled back against the wall, a garbled mess of static leaving it’s destroyed voice box as it fights for some sort of reaction from its limbs.
“Stop.”
It pauses in its struggles, dull eyes darting back to Eclipse.
“I’m trying to help you.”
What? I killed you.
It cannot speak, and knows this well, so no attempt is made. Instead, it simply continues staring, raspy wheezes struggling out of clogged and ruptured vents.
“I’m not going to hurt you. Just stay still.”
I killed you.
Eclipse stands, moving away to gather parts in thoughtful silence. It’s eyes never leave him, chest rising and falling in an unsteady rhythm that Eclipse can’t help but sympathize with. His hands move with a swiftness, picking pieces out and placing them carefully into piles that it assumes all have some designated purpose.
It’s hand twitches, fingers slowly curling into a fist despite the obvious strain this simple task causes. It gently flexes its fingers as it watches its creator move about a table that sits in the center of the room, colors shifting in and out of focus the longer it remains a spectator to Eclipse’s sorting.
I killed you.
The thought rings in its head once again, driving the agony from the forefront of its mind.
It felt good. It was justice.
The creaking of metal echoes around the room, Eclipse’s attention fully absorbed by his task.
Wasn’t it?
The breath hitches in its vents.
Wasn’t it what I wanted?
Eclipse moves over, crouching in front of it again, saying something that it can’t quite make out.
Did I really want that?
“Hey! Can you hear me?” Eclipse raises his voice above the thoughts in its head, startling it out of its own mind. It’s gaze darts back to him again, eyes narrowing skeptically as he lets out a soft breath of relief.
“Good. I don’t want all my work going to waste.” It knows Eclipse’s words are meant to lighten the mood somehow, but it finds no appeal in his badly-timed comedy act. Instead, it rattles out a growl, shifting its arm uselessly as Eclipse watches it with mild surprise and maybe a slight bit of amusement.
“That’s…not going to work. Not in this condition, anyway.”
No shit, buddy.
It wishes it could do something to retaliate in some way, but knows all attempts will result in yet more failure and humiliation. So, instead, it goes back to glaring and pouting.
“This must be rather confusing, huh?”
It huffs. The best confirmation it can give, really.
“I’ll explain when you can remember what I tell you.”
With that, Eclipse reaches forwards and pries the power cord from the back of its head, submerging its world in darkness once more.
———
The next time it comes to, Eclipse is talking in hushed tones to someone across the room.
“What the hell do you mean? That thing got you killed! What purpose would it have that would be worth endangering more lives??”
Slight hesitance, then Eclipse’s calm reply. “The rising troubles we’ve been having recently…it may know something that we don’t. It was out there for longer. Do you not trust my judgement?”
“I never said that! I just…I don’t like the way you’re going about this. What if it goes after someone again? Goes after me, or you, or Lunar, or-“
“I’ll handle it. My creation, my responsibility. Just make sure no one comes in without an invitation or my say so.”
It can hear the start of another complaint, but that is quickly shut down by the swift slam and lock of the door. Frustrated mumbling fills the air as Eclipse paces circles around the table, stopping every so often to fling something across the room, just for emphasis.
Then, a long pause, heavy venting providing proof of Eclipse’s reigning fury, yet giving way to his ruthless exhaustion.
Slowly, it raises its head, gazing almost timidly at Eclipse’s trembling figure, shaking hands, clawed fingers digging into his own palms purely to ground himself before he makes an even worse, more destructive decision.
“You better be worth it.” The elder animatronic hisses, rays shifting and turning, just fast enough to be threatening, but not overly so.
You brought me here. How is any of this my fault?
Still, it’s voice is silenced, and it is only able to glare. And glare it does.
“Don’t give me that look. You don’t deserve to give me that look.” Eclipse snarls, turning away as the air seems to tighten around him, the objects closest to him on the table moving without a single touch, some hovering just enough to be noticeable, yet remaining subtle enough to be brushed off by someone less observant than it. But it sees. It watches.
What more can it do, really?
It’s hand twitches again, balling into a fragile fist at its side.
“Oh, angry, are you? You have no right-“
With a sudden surge of vigor and righteous indignation, it moves. Up and over to the end of its line, the only thing keeping it back being the length of the cable and the effort it takes to make such a bold move. One hand flashes out, grabbing hold of Eclipse’s wrist, pulling him close enough to stare directly into his eye, locked with his gaze like a lion on a gazelle.
No matter the oil that drips from its mouth, it flashes its creator a big, sharp toothed, maniacal grin. The gears and mechanisms that make up the grinder just behind its teeth mill away at each other, showing face to its rage through how tightly its jaw is bound, clamped tight as to not lash out and bite Eclipse like a savage animal.
“Do not tell me what I can and cannot do.”
Eclipse remains stiff as a board for a few moments longer, then pries his arm from its grasp with a sort of desperation that shows just how much fear he still harbors for this beast.
“I make your limits! You can’t just choose not to follow them- not after all I’ve done for you!” Eclipse snaps, his tone lacking the anger he wishes to express, instead filled with anxiety and fear. Not quite towards this thing, not now, but…
It’s fear nonetheless.
And if he’s scared…
It pulls its hand back to its chest, eyeing Eclipse wearily, as if wishing to ask what’s troubling him, but knowing the business behind it is probably something it is best excluded from.
And, to its surprise, Eclipse moves closer after only a few moments of hesitance, carefully guiding it back to the floor. Instead of backing off, however, he sits with it, letting it lean on him as he submerges himself in his thoughts.
It watches him carefully, as it so often seems to do.
“Tell me.”
Eclipse remains silent.
“Tell me what I’m here for.”
It’s voice comes out as little more than a whisper, a raspy sound that rattles through its chest like a shockwave through a city. Despite its better judgement, it lays its head onto Eclipse’s shoulder, peering down curiously at his fidgeting hands like a child looking over a parent’s shoulder to see what they’re doing and gauge if they can join.
“The other copies,” Eclipse murmurs, almost shamefully, “Do you know about them?”
It hums softly, “Yes.”
“They’re…well…they’re not quite me anymore, so to speak…”
It tilts its head, almost curiously. A silent offer to continue.
“They merged with the others. Glamrock Freddy, Montgomery, Circus Baby, Funtime Foxy…hell, even Ennard. They’ve become more than just me. They’re like a killcode- an unfiltered, pure killcode- one that I no longer have any control over. An evil side…for everyone.”
It has nothing to say to that, surprisingly. The astonishment flushes out all other possible reactions, and…damn. This would mean it has to join forces with this pesky group, wouldn’t it? It’s either that, or lose all control over the body it just got back.
“If I help, do I get full use of my body back?”
“Don’t be greedy.”
“How is that greedy? It’s my body.”
“Yeah, well, I made it.”
“And you had a part in breaking it.”
“So?”
“So that means you should fix it.”
“That’s…not how that works.”
“How does it work, then?”
“Well…um…you, um…I…don’t know…?”
“Aren’t you supposed to be smart?”
“Shut the fuck up, you funhouse mirror knockoff!” Eclipse hisses, batting at it in a defensive manner.
It grabs his arm, quirking an eyebrow at him, an angle where their eyes could meet, yet not enough to read one another’s emotions.
“Veil.”
Eclipse pulls his arm free with a skeptical look on his face. “What?”
“If we are to work together, you should call me by my name. Veil.”
Eclipse looks…‘Veil’ up and down, seemingly seeing it in some sort of new light. Another angle to the monster he wished feared for as long as he did.
“That’s a lame ass name.”
Veil narrows its eyes, casting a glare in Eclipse’s direction. “And your’s is unoriginal. Can we move on?”
Eclipse scoffs, but makes no attempt to further the half-hearted argument. Instead, he moves closer, gently brushing his hand against Veil’s cheek. His look-alike seems rightfully disturbed.
“Cold. You’ll need more time.” Eclipse mutters under his breath, shifting back before he clambers to his feet, trailing around the room in search of…something, Veil has no clue what.
After only a few seconds, however, Eclipse returns with a shaggy blanket that he drapes over Veil’s shoulders, wrapping it snuggly around its slim, shattered frame. Almost instinctively, it snuggles into it, having not been warm so comfortably since it’s awakening, and…maybe original creation, it can’t quite remember.
“What did you want from me, back then?” Eclipse asks softly, busying himself with cozying the blanket around Veil as to avoid eye-contact that will surely give away almost all his secrets.
“Hm?” It hums drowsily, looking over to Eclipse with half-lidded eyes.
“What did you want from me? You…you wanted something, came for something. But…you never said what.”
“Company.”
The world phases in and out of focus, colors fading into obscurity. Sunlight dances at the edges of its vision, metal beams and destroyed parts laying waste beneath it. Piles and piles, endless in its sight, yet it knows there is a place beyond that doesn’t contain broken bits of metal and dangerously sharp pieces of shrapnel in mounds like mountains and hills. Agony surfaces in its mind once again, playing games with the happy ending it wishes were something more than imaginary.
Curling tighter into itself, it shuts its eyes, wishing the sun back into its hole so that it can continue daydreaming.
Fragmented claws come up to cover its shattered faceplate, hiding the tears and stifling the sobs that wrack through its tormented body.
“I just wanted company.”
But only silence meets its cry.
