I don’t mean to take anything away from Oscar and his six wins, but I have to be honest: there’s a difference between winning so much and so quickly because your car is 30+ seconds ahead of the rest of the field and drivers who had to fight for every win they got.
I have no doubt Lando and Oscar will soon pass Charles and Daniel in wins (8) - but they’ll never have an Monza 2019 or Monaco 2018. Those races meant so much specifically because of how hard-fought they were, and I don’t just mean on-track. It was everything leading up to those moments and the euphoria of just refusing to let this victory slip through your fingers that can just never be replicated.
