Hi there. I LOVE your writing so much! I was wondering if you can do a MCU Peter Parker x fem reader when you’re totally zonked out in your lounge chair, your baby bump resting comfortably as your eyes flutter shut for what quickly becomes a full-on nap. MJ’s nearby, scrolling through her phone and munching on snacks, giving you the occasional amused glance.
In the pool, Peter and Ned are acting like kids unleashed — splashing each other, yelling challenges, and trying to outdo one another with ridiculous cannonballs. You can hear their wild laughter echoing across the yard, but you don’t even stir.
Eventually, they clamber out, dripping water everywhere and continuing their loud, goofy banter. “Best cannonball champion,” Peter declares, chest puffed out like he just won a gold medal. Ned shouts, “You’re only champion because you scared me with that splash!”
MJ rolls her eyes and nudges your shoulder gently. “You’re seriously sleeping through that? I’m impressed.”
Hiiiii, thank you so much for saying those words, it warms my heart. And I apologize for taking so long to respond, my life is a bit busy and I'm suffering from a slight creative block /cry
Anyway, i hope you like it ~ ♡♡
Poolside Naps and Cannonballs .。*・゚゚
Summary: On a lazy afternoon, you find yourself in the most comfortable spot on the lounge chair, completely zonked out, the weight of your baby bump making it hard to do much but relax. As you drift into a peaceful nap, Peter and Ned are having the time of their lives in the pool, acting like a couple of kids with no cares in the world.

The sun was warm, casting a soft golden glow over the backyard, the air filled with the scent of sunscreen and summer. You’d made the executive decision to let yourself melt into the comfort of your lounge chair, a light, breezy cover draped across your lap to keep the sun off your skin. Your baby bump was resting comfortably, and the gentle sound of the pool's water rippling was the only thing that kept you from nodding off immediately.
MJ was lounging nearby, flicking through her phone with one hand and munching on chips with the other. She gave you the occasional amused glance, probably thinking that you’d never make it through this lazy afternoon without falling asleep.
You could hear the boys before you even saw them. Peter and Ned were shouting over each other, the sounds of their voices rising in excitement. They were acting like they hadn’t been in a pool for years, and honestly, you couldn’t help but smile as you heard the distinct sound of a cannonball being launched into the pool.
"Bet you can’t beat that, Ned!" Peter’s voice rang out across the yard, followed by the wild splash of his landing. "That was a perfect cannonball!"
"Ha! You’re only saying that because you scared me with the splash!" Ned retorted, his voice competitive but filled with laughter. "Watch and learn, Parker!"
You didn’t even stir as the two of them began their ridiculous challenge. The sound of water splashing, followed by their goofy shouts, was a gentle background noise, lulling you into a deeper and deeper state of relaxation. Your eyes fluttered closed, the warmth of the sun soothing your tired muscles, and before you knew it, you were completely out, totally lost in a nap, with nothing but the peaceful sounds of the pool and the world around you.
MJ, sitting just a little further away, was the only one who saw it. She rolled her eyes, shaking her head slightly at your unconscious form. She had a grin on her face as she took another handful of chips. You were a serious sleeper, especially when you got the chance to rest. And now, on a lazy summer day like this, there was no way you’d be disturbed.
Peter’s voice rang out again, loud and animated, "You see that cannonball, Ned? I’ve officially got the title of Best Cannonball Champion. No one can top me!"
"Ha!" Ned shouted from the pool, the sound of him jumping into the water once again echoing across the yard. "You’re only champion because you got me when I wasn’t ready! I was distracted, man!"
Peter splashed around, clearly loving the attention, still shouting his victory to the heavens. "It’s a perfect cannonball, Ned. Admit it!" His tone was playful, cocky.
MJ glanced over at you, noticing how soundly you were sleeping through their antics. She nudged your shoulder gently.
You made a small, sleepy noise but didn’t open your eyes, too comfortable to even think about moving. MJ chuckled, shaking her head before turning her attention back to the boys, who were now engaged in what appeared to be a water fight, with Peter sneaking up on Ned to dunk him underwater.
"Are you planning to keep that up all afternoon?" MJ called out to them, her voice a little louder now, amused.
"We’re making history here, MJ!" Peter yelled, splashing water all around him as he laughed like a kid at a theme park. "This is the best summer ever!"
You let out a small sigh of contentment, letting the sounds of their play fade into the background once more. Your head tilted back against the cushion, your hands lightly resting on your bump. It was one of those moments you felt completely at peace. The world around you was full of noise, but you were tucked into your little bubble of relaxation.
Eventually, you heard the splashes die down, and the sound of wet feet slapping against the pavement as they climbed out of the pool. You could hear the goofing off didn’t stop there.
“I am the champion of cannonballs!” Peter declared loudly, his chest puffed out like he’d just won a gold medal. "Ned, admit it. I’m a pool cannonball legend!"
“Ugh, okay, okay,” Ned grumbled, though there was a smile in his voice. “You win, Peter. You scared me so badly with that splash that I almost swallowed a gallon of pool water. You deserve it. Happy now?”
Peter threw his hands in the air as if he’d just conquered the world. "Finally. The world acknowledges my greatness!"
MJ shot you another amused look, clearly entertained by the spectacle. She reached over to nudge your shoulder once more, making sure you were still in your own world. "You know, you really are sleeping through this. I’m kind of impressed," she said with a grin.
Your eyes fluttered open at her words, a lazy smile spreading across your face as you squinted in the sunlight. You blinked a few times, trying to get your bearings, your head still a little foggy from the nap.
“Ugh, what happened?” you murmured, still half-asleep but not wanting to miss the fun entirely.
Peter and Ned were standing nearby, both dripping wet, their clothes clinging to them as they continued to argue about the cannonball competition. Peter had his arms crossed over his chest, looking far too smug for someone who was just soaked in pool water.
"You missed all of it," MJ said, her grin widening. "They’re arguing about who did the best cannonball. Peter’s convinced he’s the champ."
"Well, of course I am," Peter replied proudly, his voice full of that endearing cocky charm. "No one has ever done a cannonball like mine."
You stretched out, your body still feeling wonderfully relaxed from the nap, and gave Peter a playful side-eye. "I’m sure it was very impressive."
He winked at you, his grin never fading. "You know it."
“You seriously didn’t hear any of that?” MJ added, as she raised an eyebrow.
You shook your head slowly, still in that post-nap haze. "I must’ve been in a deep sleep."
“Good thing you didn’t miss the cannonball showdown,” Ned said, laughing as he tossed his wet hair back. "Peter’s got the title for now, but it’s only because he caught me off guard.”
Peter puffed out his chest again, doing a mock victory dance. "Best cannonball champion, at your service," he declared with a dramatic bow. "The title is mine, forever and always."
You couldn’t help but laugh, the sound of their ridiculous antics filling the air and making everything feel even lighter. There was something so comforting about moments like these—the chaos, the laughter and the pure joy that seemed to radiate from all of them.
"Alright, alright," you said with a grin, sitting up and stretching out your arms. "You win, Peter. Just don’t drown anyone in your victory splash next time."
"Deal," he said, and before you knew it, he was standing in front of you, still dripping wet but looking at you with that soft, adoring gaze that made your heart skip a beat.
He gently placed a hand on your baby bump, his fingers brushing against the fabric of your cover. "You’re sure you’re okay? After all that napping, you deserve some fun too."
"Maybe after some more sleep," you teased, and he chuckled, his fingers lightly brushing against your side as he sat down beside you.
"Fair enough," he said, leaning back against the chair, his arm wrapping around you, pulling you close. "We’ll save the next round of cannonballs for when you’re more awake. For now... we nap."
