Okay, so I need to give the laptop back soon. However I have been drawing a lot lately so You will have to do with drawing for now. Also I will be posting some huge theories on here and on tumblr about game design and things like that. Just figure I keep you all posted.

The life list.

Okay, so I know I am going to University this year, so I have come up with a smart plan to get me into the videogame industry and at the same time get me some money. I am going to get a PC soon and with my knowledge of 3D modelling I can start to model objects for money.

I’m going to University, not stopping that, however if I can I will take a year off for an apprenticeship. I also going to learn programming in my spare time so I can start making my own games. They won’t be impressive but it will prove I have what it takes.

I am also improving my drawing skills. One thing I have practised quite a bit is drawing hands. The are hard to do and if I can get those pat down then doing the rest should be fine.

This is going to be a tough 5 years ahead of me and I have very high goals to achieve  so I will make a little list of things I need to do.

1. LOOK FOR APPRENTICESHIPS!

Just go online and start looking up apprenticeships every day, (like your routine with e-mail, facebook and tumblr) PLEASE PLEASE DO THIS!!!

2. Start to learn programming.

This will help you in the long run because lots of people these days need programmers and even if you can’t learn become a designer you can still have a job in the industry.

3. Practise drawing.

Do AT LEAST one drawing a day, doesn’t matter if it is the same object over and over again just draw and you will get better.

4. Keep looking for work.

Although you have a job that may not last forever. You need some sort of back-up just incase because Boomers might not be around forever (As nice as it would be) Plus you don’t want to be working in a cafe for the rest of your life, aim big! (Plus you need that paper)

5. Constant Posting and Behance.

Behance is your creative portfolio so you need to be able to add lots to that, remember your up against some serious competition so get working asap. Also getting a fan base on tumblr wouldn’t hurt either ;)

6. Photography.

You are good at your photography so put it to good use. See if you can get a couple people to look at your work and give you feedback.
