Butterfly effect 🦋
after last* published butterflies I got this question, so I decided also to write a brief note-reminder about this symbol. The og post is here
There’s also a post indicating that Max and Camazotz are illusionary, and a corruptiongate sequel about m11, showing 4 butterflies. In general all posts are available under the same tag:)

Can it indicate time loops or another type of time fuckery? Absolutely. But we don’t know yet for sure which one it is exactly, plus in the og post I was wondering if time and mind manipulation can be considered one power at its core.
* It’s especially interesting that Billy mentions that he can do “butterfly” as he’s the MF’s vessel, and if we consider hands postures; Kali’s questionable connection to Vecna — if we consider that Henry, Billy, Kali and Will are all the MF’s vessels, then if someone (all of them) can create illusions, manipulate time, build Camazotz/the Abyss/etc and other stuff like this, it makes perfect sense.
(So I’d say, it depends on the context, on what you mean when you refer to the movie or to the butterfly effect itself; at some point Ig we can say so. And mb ST has indeed a deeper connection to the effect too, which we haven’t yet fully seen.)
