hello, first of all SO SORRY for answering this asks months late, i drew this entire lore page just for you so i hope that makes up for it!

Basically, Vative Industries is a company that manufactures robots by producing these things called “COREs.” COREs act as the heart and brain for robots, and they latch onto any nearby inanimate object, using that object as its vessel.

Therman was created from an old thermometer (duh) which still has mercury in it, so he has mood swings and has a short temper due to the mercury. Though when he’s not aggravated, he is excellent at his job, which Bishop (the CEO of Vative Industries) really appreciates.

Some fun facts about Therman:

- He has BPD

- He likes pastries and sweet foods

- He has heat vision (in the sense that he can see a heat map of everything)

- He prefers to keep himself warm, because the drop in his temperature also correlates to his mood, so he gets super depressed

- He’s bisexual
