One has to wonder if the impending split-up of Warner Bros. Discovery had anything to do with
the potential cancellation of ‘Inspector Spacetime’ and Amir El-Masry’s departure.

BTV has reassured viewers that Inspector Spacetime’s future is secure,
yet they won’t explain how the programme will keep going if Warner Bros. cancels their agreement to fund and distribute IS. (At least until after Season 2 is released.)

Considering how anti-capitalist the programme tends to be,
it’s rather surprising that the Inspector hasn’t had to use ransom of an Associate in order to capture their abductor in any episode or serial to prove a point about how crime doesn’t pay.
