Elrond is proud of you if you’re going back to school this fall! Whether it’s online or in person, he’s proud of you for continuing your education. He knows online learning has its own challenges, and he would like to remind you that you’re not ‘dumb’ if you struggle with it. He also knows in-person learning is not safe most places and he hopes you all are able to stay safe. Elrond is proud of you for doing your best, even if you’ve been placed in a difficult situation.
Elrond is proud of you no matter how much you struggle, fail, relapse, or fall. He would like to remind you that the most important thing is that you get back up and keep trying, but also that it’s okay to take a break!
Elrond is proud of you if you’re trans and/or nonbinary and especially if you’re a straight trans person! He knows there will be a lot of posts about ‘no straight people’ or focusing on sexuality only during Pride Month, but your gender identity is no less valid and you are no less LGBTQ+ or valid than any other member of the community!
Elrond is proud of you if you’re struggling with your mental health! It’s not easy, and not a lot of people understand that mental illness is just as real as physical illness. He knows you can get through it, don’t give up!
Elrond is proud of you if you’re LGBTQIA+! He knows this Pride Month is being somewhat overshadowed by everything else going on, but he’s proud that you’re still being proud even as you remember to help other communities! He would also like to remind you that it’s okay to be closeted for whatever reason, if it’s unsafe for you to come out, if you aren’t ready, or if you just don’t want to. He’s proud of you regardless!
Elrond is proud of you if you feel guilty about something. Whatever it is, he would like to remind you that the past is the past, and while you can try to make amends and do your best to improve yourself, it’s not worth needlessly beating yourself up about. Everyone has done something they’re not proud of, but what matters is that you learn from your mistakes.
Elrond is proud of you if it doesn’t feel like anyone else is. He knows he can’t replace the validation you should be getting from the people around you, but he’s still proud of how hard you’re trying. He would like to remind you that it’s not your fault they aren’t proud of you; it’s their shortcoming, not yours, and he wishes they appreciated the wonderful person you are.
Elrond is proud of you for being alive! It’s not as easy as it seems to hang on, but you’ve been doing that for years already and that’s amazing! He hopes you keep holding on and would like to remind you that you’ve survived 100% of your bad days so far. You can keep surviving, and he’s so proud of you.
