I didn’t even know where I wanted to go with this one. I just felt like placing this Samurai attire on Vergil, without a real concept in mind. The idea started to form out of nowhere, as I built the scene and googled around for some inspiration. This is based on The Void training level from the game. Just a sort of AU for it ✨

I had this project idea for months now and only these days I managed to actually work on it. The Yukata has been created from scratch in Marvelous Designer and morphed on the models. Ardyn, Luna and Aranea will most likely happen as well, along with other characters. Surely I am gonna use the yukata theme for a bunch of summer pictures

I always wanted to render Luna in her beautiful wedding dress and now it’s finally done. The lighting was very tricky to get right and I’m not even sure it looks as it is supposed to... that is sadly still a challenge with Eevee since it’s beta and real time, while Cycles is more realistic and takes wayyyy more time just to render the preview.

I want to thank @nightyswolf for porting and editing the dress (since the skirt is originally curved inward due to her sitting pose in the final scene), the throne room and for watching me work (and struggle) on this with @missyunie on Discord screen sharing.
