I had this project idea for months now and only these days I managed to actually work on it. The Yukata has been created from scratch in Marvelous Designer and morphed on the models. Ardyn, Luna and Aranea will most likely happen as well, along with other characters. Surely I am gonna use the yukata theme for a bunch of summer pictures

So lately there’s been some negative vibes going around, whether that be from [online] communities or just simply stress from the real world. Sadly, it happens. I’m not a huge fan, and a part of me wished there was something I could do to remedy this.

And so I came up with this!

Throughout the next several months, I’m gonna put random people in Samurai garb as chibis. Why? Well I want to send some positive vibes out there, make someone smile. Maybe inspire someone to pay it forward and do some good out there too! If I can do something, I’d be totally happy and thrilled.

For this one I opted for the custom made Cloud model I did in DAZ Studio. I don’t like the Dissidia design too much because I feel like his face is way too baby-like (more than normal that is), so I used that as starter point and then added in my own touch, making the face a bit slimmer (like it was in Advent Children) and the body less skinny while still keeping his naturally thin shape. The hair is once again using the particle system and the sword was also modeled in Blender from scratch.

Working on Nyx Ulric from the ground up again. The old version I have is a combination of different parts put together and the hard work of 5 people. Back then we only had the static model from Ardyn’s illusion in the final game chapter, so the body had to be taken from somewhere else a huge face retexture was required. This time I’m using parts from Comrades for a more accurate result and as reference my upcomung custom version with DAZ Studio.

I am going to use this model for the Yukata project most likely, as soon as the reshape is done, he gets retextured and receives his nice looking hair back.

I am going to follow to Twitter poll made recently, where people cast their votes for the characters they want to see featured in the series.
