Tonight, Abra Kadabra said he didn’t expect Barry to be so young. Last season, Eobard said he’d found out what time period the Flash is from. So we can infer that by the 64th century, people know Barry Allen was the Flash, but he’d time traveled so much, nobody knows when he was born. Now if they knew he’d gotten his powers from the particle accelerator explosion, that’d settle the question easily enough. That means he must have spent enough time as the Flash before the explosion to cast doubt that that was when he got his powers.

Harry Wells:

The ‘don’t slurp’ is the best thing ever. I love Cisco and Harry’s relationship.

Hunter sure drags Harry over killing the Turtle when he wants him to steal Barry’s speed. So counter productive but Hunter just can’t help himself. He has to be dick even if it will cost him Harry stealing Barry’s speed for him. He’s dying and Barry’s speed is the only thing that will save him. Harry’s invention and ability to steal the speed is way to save himself. Yet he still can’t help but needle Harry as Jay and put doubt in everyone’s minds. Can’t help but stir that pot. Hunter is king of all dicks.

Harry is the one who notices Cisco has a nosebleed.

Harry seriously lost his sh*t when Cisco started fading. He couldn’t get his words out fast enough. He kept tripping over what he was saying, he was yelling, freaking out and completely losing it. He couldn’t held back how much he cares about Cisco and he was so worried he didn’t even think to try. Course he didn’t let on after Cisco recovered how much he cared.

Harry is so transplant when the room got too many feelings he has to distance himself and pretend he’s jerk. Yet he did so with the opening getting food/offering to pick up food for everyone. His assbackward way caring and trying to cover it up.

Seriously though were does Harry get his money from on Earth 1?

I love Harry telling Eobard to shut up. Shame he didn’t get punch him.

Harry is still dick for how triggers Cisco’s ability. He waves his hands in Cisco’s face before puts his hands towards his neck. My brother use to do the same arm wavy thing in my face and go ‘blah’ so I found it rather funny and childish. It made think that Harry wave my hands in his face to scare him like brother use to do me. He’s good at being a dick but not good at being evil.

Cisco Ramon:

I love Cisco starting to accept his powers and not run from them.

Is bad I laughed really hard Cisco’s scream?

I love Cisco’s reaction finding he see the future.

Cisco decides not to listen to Harry about the timeline and go talk to Eobard, tell him who is and stuff about himself. Is this causal loop time paradox? Eobard choose Cisco to work for him and did so much with him because of this moment? I hate casual loop time paradoxs because how it go down the first time! Blah!

I will never stop wanting to hug Cisco and beat Eobard for all the pain he causes him.

Eobard Thawne:

The worse bigger fan ever. The number one fan who wanted to be his idol and than turned toxic, scary, killer who wanted to destroy his idol when they somehow failed to live up to something they fantasized about. Being pals, lovers, or in this case Eobard being the Flash.

Eobard stalked Barry for 15 years. He was with him for every big event and he had cameras everywhere once he finally meet Barry. I can’t help but wonder if he always had cameras in the West home while Barry was growing up. At Barry’s school and university. It’s beyond creepy to think all the things he could’ve spied Barry doing.

I wonder if Eobard thinks that the Wells in 2016 he saw is himself once he took over Earth 1 Harrison’s body? If he thinks that’s why Harrison Wells helped him get back to his time line. How Harrison Wells convinced the Flash to do it. Or did he look into Harry’s eyes and not see himself? Just got the idea to use Harrison Wells? He was looking really hard into Harry’s eyes trying to figure him out. Maybe his when he was stuck in the past and thought back to this moment his ego made him think he saw himself in Harrison Well’s eyes? Maybe I’m over thinking this.

Patty Spivot: If you Patty fan you may want to skip this

I don’t like Patty. I don’t like that she tried to get Joe to tell her Barry is the Flash first before talking to Barry. It’s pretty low to try get his Dad to out him as the Flash to her before even talking to Barry about it. Barry denied he was Flash when she asked him point blank. He doesn’t want her to know. She knew it.She understood that he didn’t want her to know and to stay. She couldn’t respect that. Couldn’t respect that friend, someone who loves Barry and respect him as the Flash. He’s saved her and helped many times as Flash. Worthy of respect and right keep his secret identity when made clear he didn’t want share part of his life with her. But nope she had to know and have it confirmed in public.

It’s Barry’s right to keep his secret identity. Dammit the relationship is over and he made it clear he doesn’t want keep it going. That doesn’t mean she gets to force his secret out of him to satisfy herself. To know she was right about him. If she wants to go away thinking he’s the Flash fine, but she doesn’t get to force it out of him in public on train in front of other people. Why do it public? If she had pull this crap she could’ve done it at her apartment claiming someone is breaking in.

Anyone listening to that phone call would’ve heard her call a man named Barry for help. The Flash show up a second later and than see him unfaze his face (at which case they could’ve taken a picture on their cellphone) and than she sets down and says out loud ‘Goodbye Barry’. Once again making sure the name ‘Barry’ is connected with the Flash. If someone had that information they could try to look up records, such as newspaper reports etc, of people who injured the night of explosion with the name Barry. I’m sure it’s written down somewhere CSI hit my lightening while working wakes up nine months later. The fact he got hit by lightening at work inside a building is newsworthy. Bet there aren’t many people hurt that night with the name Barry on public record or off public record. So mastercop and oh so awesome exgirlfriend that she is just announces enough information for someone to work out Barry is the Flash. Cause if they weren’t listening to the start of her call I’m sure people paid attention when the Flash showed up and started talking to her normal voice, unburred his face, and she said goodbye Barry when he left. In real life she have people turning to her going ‘omg you know the Flash!” as soon as he left. Seriously, if you worked hard enough knowing his first name, skin color, height, and fact that he’s meta human you might be able to dog down some information about him. Barry isn’t a poplar name. The only thing Barry has going for him is it’s a nick name. Still DON’T say his name! Barry was upset at Felicity when she said name when arrived to save term Arrow from the LoA in the remote they at. He also upset the other times people like Cisco said his name. Leonard Snart puts more effect and thought into keeping Barry’s identity safe that Patty did. Keeping things secret even from his sister. Only saying Barry’s name when they are alone or when he thought Barry was dead. Than he killed his father so that loose threat was taken care of.

Patty dumped him in public - at work - after a big fight (were she attacked the fact that he has nightmares which he explained were connected with death of his mother no less) and now she wants to talk? Now she’s hurt and pissed at him when he doesn’t want to talk. When told him she’s still moving? Still doesn’t want things to work. She didn’t end the relationship and ask to still be friends. He didn’t agree to try to be friends post break up. She dumped him. He’s got the right to be hurt and not want to be around her as much as she had the right to be hurt and end the relationship.

Throughout the episode she’s upset that he isn’t chasing after her. She ended the relationship! She’s moving away and decided she didn’t want to have a long distance relationship. He doesn’t want to talk their relationship. He made that clear. Relationship’s over. She doesn’t want to get together. Now she’s upset he’s not chasing after her? Ugh. She’s the worst. You can’t have it both ways. You end the relationship and than you get mad when the person you dumped doesn’t talk to about it? Barry wanted to keep talking and trying but she decided no it was over. She was still leaving so the relationship was still over. He doesn’t have to talk to her about it. He doesn’t have to chase her. She has no right to be pissed off that he’s not chasing after her.

She’s leaving and she still doesn’t think Barry has the right to know about Harrison Wells, Caitlin Snow and STAR Labs? Joe still didn’t tell her jack about meta hunting task force the whole season.That’s some serious blind faith she has in Joe. Even after she figured out Barry was the Flash and connected to STAR labs she still didn’t tell him about Harrison Wells. I don’t know if praise her for being loyal to Joe or be angry at her her disloyalty to Barry? If she really loved him and felt so strongly about issue of the murder of parents than why wouldn’t she tell him she knows his mom’s murder is alive? She shot him, covered it up and Joe knows about it. So that Barry and Joe can talk about it? Oh yeah I guess the longer she leaves it the worse she looks in it. Shooting a unarmed man and covering it up even if the man is confessed murder. She’s party to covering up a confessed murders escape from law now. (from her POV Harry is Harrison Wells who confessed to murder). She’s in pretty deep legal trouble over this and moral trouble lying by omission to Barry about his mother’s murder. I dunno how much worries legal woes what she did to Harrison Wells when she thought she could become a police officer to legally shoot the man who killed her dad. To get away with murder under thin blue line. She’s got pretty wrapped world view of police can do and what’s legal. If she went police training and still didn’t learn that the police can’t murder people.

I hope Patty doesn’t come back. I don’t like her. I’m completely over her.

The only Patty I like now is the mention of CSI E2 Patty because I like to think she’s nothing like this Patty. Only got the good parts of her.

Patty is kinda terrible and so off bases in many ways in  how goes about things. She thinks cops can legally kill people. She becomes a policemen with sole purpose revenge not helping people. She plans this for 4 years. She goes through training and working the job doesn’t at time clue in that big murder plans are wrong. She really has no grasp of police power within the law re:Harrison Wells & her legal murder plot. She thinks Barry and Iris are like brother and sister. Shows how little she knows Barry & Iris. She breaks up Barry publicly at work. She didn’t plan to do it but still did it. She forces Barry to out himself as the Flash in public.

Barry Allen:

Barry really sucks fighting speeders. When Wally and/or Jesse become speeders they can train fighting at high speed. Seriously he needs it.

Barry has so much easier time hating Eobard when wears different face.

Iris West:

Poor Iris her mother finally shows up to be a mother to her when she’s dying. She only has five minutes with her. Francine sounded like good, mature, kind mother telling Iris to let her anger out on her and how she wants Wally there to do the same. Wants to Wally to be there so she can help him through it all while she still can. It’s just so unfair that Iris didn’t get to have this mother growing up. That this seemly mature, kind, loving mother didn’t come contact her a few years sooner.

Iris is a big person and kind person to forgive her mother. She’s no longer angry at her mother but I’m still angry on her behave. Angry that she picked choose to be mother to Wally but not Iris.

I like Iris talking about Eddie especially with Wally.

Other:

Caitlin talked about everyone having a doppelganger but that doesn’t turn out to be turn for Jesse doesn’t it? Caitlin knew that too because Earth 1 Dr. Wells died. Also Jesse is older than 15 years old so E1 Dr. Wells should’ve already had fathered a child for Jesse to have doppelganger. Ergo no doppelganger for Jesse Wells on E1.

Still the illogical doppelganger theory of Caitlin’s lead to Jay slipping up and outing himself.

Everyone should’ve wore masks to take to Eobard. Like really dumb masks to pisses him off. Like a cartoon Flash mask or one really cheap masks of Nixon. Like f-u Eobard enjoy looking at these dumb masks cause that’s all you’re going see for the rest of your life.

This episode covered a lot from the Reserve Flash, Cisco learning his powers, Harry’s side stuff, Barry & Patty, Francine, Wally and Iris.

The Flash: The Reverse-Flash Returns: Reaction (Spoilers)

An enemy returns, or arrives. Time travel really make using tenses more difficult.

Reverse-Flash Back: Bright side: not evil Wells. Down Side: Still a pain to deal with. We learn more about his origin this episode, namely that he’s pretty much the epitome of a psycho-fanboy. Wanting to be the Flash, gaining the power, and in an effort to prove himself, goes around causing trouble to prove he’s the better one. Well for someone “better” he sure spends a lot of of time dealing with Flash both in his time period and the current one.

Dead Turtle: Well they found his body. Wells was suspect number one but he didn’t outright deny doing anything. Of course, no one asked the right question or pressed the issue. If you’re going to question someone, keep going until you get a “yes” or “no” so at least you can say you asked properly, regardless of being answered with a truth or lie.

Patty Leaving: She’s still on track to CSI school in Midway City though she continues to show her detective skills by looking through old case files and realizing there were details Barry, a supposedly non-meta CSI, should not have known. She puts two and two together and she figures out she’s the Flash. Joe and Barry tried to convince her otherwise but Patty’s way too smart for that. She pointed out Joe taught her she had to lie during the job but apparently he’s not the best person to be telling her that since she countered with him not being a good liar. Barry continues to push her away with the intention of protecting her because lying and omission always work in protecting someone. What Patty learned along with Joe mentioning Barry’s not good at opening up only cemented her theory that Barry is the Flash. When Patty confronted Barry about being Flash, he continued to deny it, even after she said if he would be honest she would stay. While I’m not for her putting her goal on hold for a man, not even Barry, I wanted to see Barry be honest with her especially since she was practically saying they could still be together if he would just be honest. But no, instead he kept on lying to her face and I just found that an insult to this smart and strong woman who is being told she is wrong even when she can back up her claims.

Forgiveness and No Regrets: Seeing Iris forgive Francine brought me a bit of happiness despite the overall somber tone of the scene. When you have a chance to make things right with someone, you take it because you never know if you’ll ever get that chance again. Both woman have made a peace in their lives, Iris being open and honest and learning to let go and Francine not having regrets over not seeing her daughter before she dies. Wally hadn’t been in to see her though. When Iris ran into him later he admits that he was angry with Francine for suddenly dropping his living father on him. He might not have gone to see Francine if Iris didn’t tell him about how she felt the same way about learning about Francine and about Eddie’s death, how she wished she could’ve told Eddie how much he was loved before he died. I’m reminded of something I heard once before that you give a person their flowers while they’re still living because once they’ve gone you can’t. By the episode’s end, it looks like Wally is ready to forgive, with the help of his sister.

Vibing: Cisco wanting to improve the use of his powers is good. Those Vibe Goggles (unofficial name until Cisco comes up with something more badass) worked wonders, even allowing him to see across what could’ve been multiple timelines or even alternate Earths.

In Time: Yay for vibing allowing for precognition and being able to save Dr. Christina McGee. Considering how often Mercury Labs is broken into, they may want to beef up their security. Just don’t ask STAR Labs since their security has much to be desired.

Cisco Eobard nosebleeds: Catching and stopping him from killing Dr. McGee was good though Wells pointed out there could be potential ramifications to the timeline if anything major happened to Eobard, like if he died or as we learn if he didn’t go back to when Barry was younger. This led to Cisco’s nosebleeds and eventual seizing. If Eobard didn’t go back, Nora Allen would not have died, the Earth 1 Wells would not have died so Eobard wouldn’t have made the particle accelerator which gave Barry and Cisco their powers including allowing Barry’s first time travel where he saved Cisco from getting killed by Wells so there is a justifiable reason how Eobard not going back affects Cisco. It was killing Barry to have to let Eobard go. Either way, I’m sure we’ll be seeing that Reverse Flash suit again. In media, the first big bad’s influence always makes itself known throughout the protagonist’s life so I’m sure we’ll be hearing about Reverse Flash, again. I guess we can have the comfort of knowing that in the end, Eobard Thawne still ends up defeated.

Hunter Zolomon: Caitlin had been spending time finding a way to restore Jay’s dying cells and her best bet was to find his Earth 1 doppelganger but with no luck. Jay informs her he tried before they met and while he did find his doppelganger in the form of Hunter Zolomon, Zolomon’s non-mutated cells would have no effect on Jay’s cells. Even though it turned up a blind alley, I’m sure Jay’s touched by the lengths Caitlin is going to in order to help him.

Train False Alarm: Patty you sly devil, but I can’t blame her. If you’re leaving off for a long time, you don’t want to be left in the dark. She has her answer so for now she may be satisfied.
