Really is such a shame Malcolm Owen died so young, The Ruts were fucking brilliant, like I've seen Ruts DC many times by now and there's no denying Segs & Ruffy remain one of the best rhythm sections in punk but that dark gritty tension that runs through The Crack is all in Malcolm's songwriting, nobody did it like him
