Review:

A story inspired by a true crime event, this follows a freshman girl who's life is turned upside when her roommate's ex-convict brother moves into their dorm and starts a cult. I love a true crime/mystery kinda read and the fact that this was based off a real event was so interesting. I have enjoyed a lot of Tiffany's previous works but this one was just a bit of a miss for me personally. I do think maybe others will have a good time with it but I just couldn't find myself that invested in the characters and the actual storyline itself. I was intrigued to see how the retelling/inspired story would change but it just felt a little "meh" to me. Overall, it might have been a miss for me but i do think that other YA true crime readers will have a good time with it.
