One of my favorite Scarecrow-centric tropes is the fact that he’s immune to his toxin, yet for some reason writers think they can keep pulling the “oh this version is too strong EVEN for Scarecrow” bullshit, but batman can beat it somehow??? How is that fair?

I get it, Bruce has to win, but the fear toxin is iconic. It’s been carefully curated by Crane for years, getting stronger and stronger every new dose, it can penetrate the skin, effect you through scent and even be injected into the bloodstream for an immediate effect yet Batman is exempt from this chemical’s power? And even if he is effected, it’s just to shove the “MY PARENTS ARE DEAAAAD trope into our faces for the thousandth time. Get a new fear, Bruce.

I’m just so tired of Batman being all powerful towards this chemical that’s so strong it can knock out an elephant herd. And yes. Crane SHOULD Always, ALWAYS, be immune. Who is he testing it on but himself??? Maybe, I can settle with Arkham Knight being an outlier, but most of the time, he is immune.
