Tabitha has a mug thats says “I’m Da Boss” on it next to an open jar of peanut butter with a spoon in it. She sits behind her abusive Mother’s desk, cleaning Pearlanne’s shotgun she would use to menace her workers. She chameleon’s herself in Pearlanne’s shadow, wearing the shape of her own monster because “she’s used to having to play the bad guy”. Behind her, on either side of a dingy office window & a strangled house plant, leer the portraits of Pearlanne & Enoch Scarlet. Tabitha’s restrictive, abusive Mother and her ancestor who willfully started the Confederate Blood Curse that Tabitha must bear. I might be missing a portrait but Tabitha is always facing Pearlanne’s way, meeting her ghost’s leer.
