In episode 2, homelander and deep both complain about having to "stand around and look pretty" when they "could be doing so much more" and get told off by blond women in different ways.. and parallel that with stillwell using touch to manipulate homelander in that scene, and homelander using touch to manipulate the deep a couple scenes after.. I don't even know the point I'm trying to make. I just like episode 2. Lot going on.

In Homelanders scene, the irony is that he just killed a bunch of innocent ppl and is complaining about having to go to a party. In deeps scene with starlight, the irony is that he's complaining about being objectified to the person he sexually assaulted.
