Justober Day 20: Night Coaches

A little about the design:

When I saw this day, I immediately thought of Showman. I chose him because, firstly, he's my favorite Coach, and secondly, there were so many things I could do with him.

I mainly took the idea for the design of the robot he defeats in Danger! High Voltage. If he (probably) fights evil in the form of a robot, then why shouldn't he become an evil robot himself?! But he's only half robot, or just a quarter..?

Moreover, the left hand is robotic, as it's wearing a glove of the same color. And the overall colors are taken from the robot (again, as a reference).

I like to think his name is Fulbright and that The Showman is his title

Family

His mother is Aer from Positions, but he never knew his father. He does know that his father is a mortal coach, which makes The Showman a demigod.

Favourite people/person

He’s appointed himself as the guardian of Carnivallium, and he’s become pretty close friends with Kym Noe and the coaches from Circus.

Enemy(s)/rival(s)

He absolutely despises Iluquim because of what they’ve been doing to other coaches, but he’s not sure how to defeat them. The Showman’s a demigod, but Iluquim has in uncanny way of disappearing without a trace. Perhaps they have been getting assistance from a certain magician.

Favourite food

He has a soft spot for fairy floss (cotton Candy if you’re American). He doesn’t eat it very often because all of it is just sugar, but he likes the texture a lot.

Favourite drink

Chamomile tea with all the fancy spices and berries added to it. He likes to make it whenever The Traveler and Wanderlust comes to visit.

Hobby

He’s a big reader. He’s not very picky when it comes to the books he reads, and he owns an impressive book collection. He likes to loan them out to his friends.

Hidden talent

He has very impressive balance. It’s probably his magical abilities assisting him, but he can walk across the thinnest of tightropes without breaking a sweat.

Pet peeve

Dog-earing a book. He’s used the most absurd materials as a bookmark, but the second someone folds a corer of the page his eye begins to twitch a little.

Insecurity

He fears that one day, his skills won’t be enough to help the people he cares about. With how powerful he is, he knows that he has to use his gifts for good and help others. But what if his gifts aren’t enough?

Hi all! This is something I wrote a few months ago, which I rediscovered and reconnected with.

This one's for my Locknation fandom and friends (hi guys!) and for the person who gave me a lot of inspiration and may never know I wrote it about him, but that's a story for another day.
