The Stingrays - Still In Love With You (1980)
There are certain eras of music that I have a soft spot for, and here's a great example of that late 70s, early 80s mod pop sound. There seem to have been a ridiculous number of bands called the Stingrays or Sting-rays, several existing at the same time in Britain. From what I can tell, this Stingrays were a mod/power pop group from Norwich.

Arriba “Sound” de The Stingrays - todo seguido, no confundir con The Sting- Rays el grupo de garaje del sello Big Beat- contenida en la recopilación “Avon Calling: The Bristol Compilation” de 1979.
En los Stingrays estaban Chris Bostock y Sean McClusky, ambos a su vez parte de Subway Sect de Vic Godard y en 1982 de JoBoxers, banda recordada por temazos neo-retro soul como “Boxerbeat” o “Just Got Lucky” (anda que no la bailamos veces en Carrousel).
A través de Alejo Alberdi, que piensa que Stingrays deberían ser mucho más conocidos. A mí me recuerdan un poco a los Wipers, eléctricos y vertiginosos.
