From the 1938 movie, Joan Bennett shown here in a publicity photo from the western "The Texans" (ref 1, ref 2). This photo was taken by George Hurrell - which explains why it's a very good photo!

Some interesting trivia: "The Texans" premiered at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio, TX. Exterior scenes for this movie were shot on a 35,000-acre ranch near Cotulla, TX, and included over 2,000 Texas longhorn cattle. It was a "political" movie in that it featured some of the misdeeds promoted by the Federal Government during Reconstruction. Finally, it was Joan Bennett's last film as a blonde :)

Ringo se mete en el pantano en "It´s Been Too Long", uno de los 10 cortes de su próximo LP «Long Long Road» (24 de abril). Me ha gustado mucho. Ahí resuenan Slim Harpo, Tony Joe White, los Creedence C.R. o el Dylan de "Everything Is Broken".

«Long Long Road» va a ser la segunda colaboración del ex beatle con el productor T Bone Burnett, tras el exitoso «Look Up» de 2025, su primer álbum country en más de 50 años.

El nuevo LP incluye canciones de Billy Strings, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent, Molly Tuttle y Sarah Jarosz, entre otros, y se grabó en Nashville y Los Ángeles con muchos de los mismos músicos de acompañamiento que tocaron en «Look Up». Burnett bautizó al grupo como The Texans.
