Emmerdale family tree - as of march 2018

Families on soaps are very intricate. I find it a bit intriguing, so I thought it would be fun to do this. I focused firstly on parent/child relationships from marrige/relationships/flings. If a characters parents aren’t on the show I connected them to their closest relation.  I only used current characters and current romantic relationships (as many as I could!) because MY GOD there have been so many!

When I finished this it felt so cluttered, and it’s just a simplified tree!

i hope some of what i've written makes sense. i wasn't exactly the most clear headed girl when we met. you didn't marry me for my logic - that’s what you used to say to me - and i was never much for writing but, now suddenly there isn't enough time to say all the things i want to say to you and there's not enough spaces on these pages to write them down. if only we’d known how quickly the last chapter would arrive. i wouldn't have wasted precious paragraphs with other people, when my story was always about you. i’d have taken more time in life's hustle and bustle, i’d have taken more time for you. i’d have been kinder to you, the way you've always been to the people who came to you for help. you’re home now ashley with your family. with your dad, with arthur and gabby and dotty. and this is where you’ll be.

Post Ep Ponderings June 9

So I heard something about this Pete and Priya thing awhile ago, but did it seem that the work up to it was a bit rushed to anyone else? Things didn't exactly seem ooc, just maybe more intense? That's not the right word, but here's what I mean: Did it seem out of place for Leyla to be more laid back about the grow op or for her to tell anyone to grow a pair? Not really, but what is strange is that she hasn't really been like that with Pete. It just felt like a bit of an attitude change towards him to give Pete a reason to cheat on her and honestly it felt a little weak. I also find it interesting that he spent the whole episode being all high and mighty with his morals only to cheat on his girlfriend with her best friend. And then looked sad and disappointed at the end when he sees Priya hugging Rakesh. I get this more if it was a one time, they were both frustrated kind of thing, but Pete's suddenly looking like he's in love with Priya. Priya at least just looked guilty. Someone is going to end up diabetic in the Thomas house. So I guess Belle and Lachlan is going to happen. *shudders*
