Something rotten has infected the land, bringing loss and darkness in its wake. The air tastes putrid with a disease no clan has ever seen. Starclan has fallen in their holy battle, and the valley feels hollow beneath your paws, every beat of your frantic heart being on borrowed time...

Something has taken hold, festering unseen and quiet. It twists its victims into something else, something horrific and lost. The clans call it the "Black Rot", and no cat is truly safe from what is lurking closer and closer with each breath.

The Withering is a realistic, literate, 18+ Warrior Cats roleplay set in the Pacific Northwest's Cascade Range, carrying themes of disease, decay, and survival.

I run this team for now, often times it's always Raiden and Kazuha finishes off the bosses and still in good health, meanwhile my Xingqiu and Tighnari is on thin line to get erase. 😵

And the only thing that helps is the smoke from the cigarettes, sucked down into these black lungs, scraped raw from screaming and pleading for someone or something to find me inside of me and save me from everything i haven't done. Tell me when the monsters are inside of you, then how the hell are you supposed to find the motivation run? BrackenClan is clever, reclusive, and cautious, preferring to thrive in the secrecy of their densely forested territory. They excel at stalking, tracking, and ambushing during hunts, relying more on their environment than on brute strength or speed.

The medicine cats of BrackenClan are deeply in tune with the forest around them and often interpret the growth of fungi and the behavior of crows as omens from StarClan. It is customary for medicine cats to bring offerings of shiny objects to Lichen Grove for the crows.

For moons, four clans have thrived within the valley:

Brackenclan: Forest-dwelling warriors who find sacred blessings amongst crows as they move between ancient roots and overhead in the branches of their ancient forest.

Mistclan: Protectors of their sacred waterways, paws always left damp with hearts hardened by fog and faith within their holy wetlands.

Breezeclan: Swift and untamed, racing across endless fields of flowers beneath the open sky of their plains.

Ridgeclan: Unyielding and sharp as the mountain they call home, cats with glacier ice and discipline in their blood.
