So regarding Jroth, I think he says the same bullshit over and over again ya kno, just using different words as they come and I’m like *shrugs* “whatever” every time there’s an interview of him. I also think that if he - or any of the actors - think that ships formed in two episodes like Flarke, CL, Z/ven, M/mori (or even built on betrayal like Bleggo and CL) and else are better than a relationship built on the long run, through hardship, hope, mutual respect and support because these would be “boring”, then I’m glad I’m not in a relationship with any of them, umm. I’m glad that I’m not Jroth’s wife especially since Jroth did compare Bellarke to his marriage. So what I think is that Jroth is the captain of the ship, and the actors say what he says, but in their words. And that makes them breathe hot and cold every two hours, sometimes during the same freaking convention! This year, we had Richard being “I mean I see how [Bellamy] looks at you, I don’t want to compete for his love!” to ET, then Richard being all sarcastic to fans who wear Bellarke tee-shirts. We had Lindsey snapchatting some “Bellarke <3″ at SDCC 2017 and then on an interview from the same period that came out recently, she says “Blarke is boring”. We had Eliza with the “Blarke shit” on 2016 and now this year she was very far up Blarke’s asses. Am I even supposed to care about their bullshit anymore? To me, Eliza is just saying what she has to say. I think she learnt from the CL drama that she just needs to adapt to her audience and adress her fans as they come: if they love Bellarke, then she’ll be about Bellarke, if they love CL then she’ll be about CL. It’s her job and she said she doesn’t want to ship because it’s weird and because these actors are her friends and she thinks it’s unprofessional. Fine, then. As for the rest of them… tbh I don’t know and I don’t care. I think actors should just have a direct line of conduct and stick to it. We don’t care about their personal opinions on scripts - since they don’t watch the show, and some of them probably don’t even read all the scripts - that they don’t see transcribed on screen. We have to understand that actors have probably a very different pov on the characters than us, because they do see their friends instead of these characters, probably. So I don’t care what they say, even tho I really think it’s totally unnecessary of them to throw some shits when they’re not in the mood or to provoke anything. Now the problem is Jroth, he really likes to attract (I don’t want to say “bait” because I don’t think it’s the word) towards his show by promoting Bellarke - yes hello, can we acknowledge ONCE AND FOR ALL that interviews questions are CHOSEN by the producers, and not just random questions? So when there are Bellarke questions on every interviews, it’s because the EP WANTED it! - before and in the middle of his seasons. And I think that’s what frustrates people. Before every season we have a shit ton of Bellarke promotion, interviews where they’re talked about and teased. And at the end of every season we have the “welp you got played!” interview, where Jroth says shits like “they’re plaTTTOnicCCC” and stuff like that. And he starts again and again and again. So yeah, I can totally understand people dropping the show, because he has a shit-ass behavior with the fans. When it suits him, he treats them like they’re royalty “don’t worry Bellarkers, I would NEVER spoil the real story” *wink wink* and then when his season has come to an end, or when it’s about promoting something else like Bleggo or CL, it’s like “welp you see what you see about Bellarke but you’re wrong, GO READ THE BOOK, my show ain’t about romance cuz I’m so revolutionary!”. I’m not even gonna talk about how Bellarke is, anyway, the center of the show, always and forever. I’m so glad to have “platonic Blarke” over “romantic Bleggo” for whatever it is- like their two scenes per season. Even during the “epic CL love story” this show explored Bellarke way more than whatever CL was. The writing of the show says it all. But even when he’s negative, he keeps the whole “they’re not romantic YET and I can’t make any promises, one way or the other” or “I see it but they’re growing as person AT THE MOMENT” - always something to keep teasing people, ya know? So I understand why people drop the show- and I think there are a lot of people who decided to drop Jroth more than the show itself. Because his little mind game really needs to stop. Whether they are planned, or they’re not, and he should stop playing with his audience- especially young people! Yeah I don’t want him to spoil the story either, but even if you don’t want to spoil your story, in my mind, there are other and better ways to adress the subject than the way he does it, and the way - after him - the actors do it. Today, we get from Conaggedon where Bob and Eliza talk about love and trust between Bellarke “trust is in their DNA”, to Jroth who writes a shit ass Bellarke arc on s5 and goes like “they have different family uniiiits” and we have Bellamy choosing Eggo over Clarke because “it’s been six yeaaaars”. So yeah, ironically, I could totally see Jroth thinking that Bleggo is a good endgame for Bellamy, because he can be that stupid and that shitty, and he could really think that because “his show isn’t about romance” (when ya know almost all his main characters are in a relationship and have their storylines be only about that person or that storyline AHEM) that could work and that would be a decent storyline and a decent love story for Bellamy (like please if you don’t want to write Bellarke at least put Bellamy with a Gina 2.0 who never hurt him or betrayed him and was never shown feeling sorry about it, ya kno). And I feel like it’s really annoying, because a lot of times, Jroth HIMSELF is the one bringing the romantic question to the Bellarke interviews he has: THEY ARE HIS LEAD CHARACTERS, he can talk about them as “separate persons” (since they’re supposed to grow as people right now!) or talk about their PLATONIC relationship NOW. But no, all he does when he’s asked about Bellarke is say “THEY’RE PLATONICC” and that’s it. Thanks Sherlock, WE KNOW- talk about something else, homey! His language basically didn’t change from ep501 to ep513 about Bellarke, like the “platonic soulmates” bullshit, he said it on ep503′s after show I think. Like?? Don’t you have anything else, anything new to say, post s5 about your two leads?? He’s just circling around the romantic questions and it’s so obvious to me that I just roll my eyes. I don’t want to listen to his bullshit anymore, I just want to watch Bellarke as they are - which is already perfect tbh - and love some of the cast, and ignore the rest of them. I’m excited about s6 and tbh even his answers about the questions regarding all the things outside Bellarke made me go “uuuuuuuuuuuuugh”. That dude is just draining my love for some characters and the show, every time I listen to his bullshit. So I won’t listen to him. And I understand people who are so over him that they’re even over the idea of giving him any rating (because that’s what I saw mostly, people dropping the show not to give it view, but saying “I’ll watch the Bellarke scenes on youtube”). It’s pathetic at that point. Dude could learn to treat his fans better, but he has such a big-ass ego that he doesn’t even care.
