So for the baby bones sans au you have, do you think in neutral runs where you kill pap, depending on how you answer his question about using powers for good, that you could have to go through Sans strongest attack before he realizes what he was doing and flees?

Oh I 100% believe that if you kill Pap, Sans is definitely going to have a strong reaction to you in the judgement hall. I think an attack from him would be down right expected, since he is a very hurt child at that point. Depending on your answer, I think would determine whether he would stop tho.

Saying that you should use your powers for good, I think would trigger more of a deserved, hurtful fit over; If you really believed that, than why is Papyrus gone? And i feel he would lash out a bit uncontrolled before calming down and leaving. So at most, you’d have a small amount of damage, but nothing too extravagant to worry about.

The opposite however, would definitely breed more hatred. He would lash out, but it would be purposeful. A child’s spite, and I’m not sure he’d truly let up on this one if given the chance, you know? When a kid’s hurt, they don’t tend to stray from their judgement very quickly.

So I think, if it’s not a triggering for a bad time, you’re definitely going to be taking more damage before he just wears himself out. (Which kinda almost makes me wanna tie in my idea of him melting out of determination at the end because his determination against you would be rather high and he’s just a small bag of bones.)
