Theater rule #3
Don’t argue with the director or stage crew about how it’s supposed to look unless you’ve been told by the playwright or the director. You do what you’re told. Remember! Actors are easily replaceable!

Theater rule #5
Never tell an actor or anyone who’s working on a play good luck! It’s an old theater curse! If you want to wish them luck then say break a leg! They’ll appreciate it!
Theater rule #2
If you mess with a prop, PUT IT BACK. And don’t touch a prop if it is not yours!!!
Theater rule #6
Do NOT say the name of the Scottish play in a theater! You will curse the entire play. Something bad will happen, it’s worse than saying good luck!
Theater rule #4
You must always leave a light on for the ghost when you leave! Even just a little lamp when everyone else is gone will attract your theater spirits to help your show!

Thanks for sharing this, @fiveweeksinchicago. Some of these rules will provide myself with new challenges to work on. Not sure that I'll be doing a surprise on-stage costume change through a ring of fire any time soon (rules 15, 18, and 19), but when I do, I'll know I've made it.
