Juyeon x Male Reader Pt.2

(I had this idea in my head since the day I posted part one and since everyone loved it so much! I rushed through my college work to write this! Hope yall like this. @ldrei and @leedosbunnyboy IT IS HERE!)

Part 1

Y/n and Juyeon's relationship was going better than y/n would have imagined. He was much more comfortable in this house, their home, than he had ever been in any royal palace. It was a safe space for him, Juyeon and anyone who intended to befriend them.

Many of the parents of Ruka's friends were local merchants too and were all very much surprised to hear Ruka talk about his parents, so they checked up and realised that the merchant group they feared the most has a new cute member who has taken upon himself to be the kindest person alive.

Y/n met so many people through Ruka's friend circle, he was constantly being called for dinner somewhere or the other. Though arriving with Juyeon made a lot of commotion, everyone soon realised that till y/n was happy, Jueyon was not going to do anything to anyone.

Although Juyeon often left for his trips to other kingdoms, he ensured one of the trusted members was always there to guard their home. And he made up for his physical distance from y/n by never making him leave bed for days before and after his return. Sometimes y/n wondered how he could handle so much love and affection and sex, but he did pretty well, and everyone noticed how much y/n's appearance had changed since he came. His paleness and whispered voice changed into blindingly beautiful skin and laugh.

One day while he was teaching Ruka in the hall, he heard a knock at the door. Juyeon was supposed to return two days later, but still, y/n got up and saw Haknyeon through the peephole and opened the door. "Hey y/n! Hey Ruka bub! How are you both?" "We are fine Haknyeon, I was just teaching him something. Would you like to join us for hot chocolate? We were just going to have some snacks as it is almost five."

"Can I get a coffee, please? I just had something sweet so not in the mood to have chocolate." "Oh Sure."

"Btw, y/n, no, wait right now I will use sir. So, sir, your family has caught up with the trace and though we tried to mislead them, they got some news that someone who looks like His Royal Highness Y/n has been seen in the market frequently with the infamous bandits."

All it took y/n was some words by Haknyeon to lose his balance and slip back into the dark memories. This chase has been going on since the palace realised that y/n vanished, which was the very next day of his departure. They conceived it as kidnapping at first but now almost six months in, they were sure that y/n willingly left the empire, and this made things more twisted, the reputation and validity of the throne were on the line. Haknyeon had to run to y/n and shake him slightly to make sure that he was okay. "No. I am not okay, but that is not the problem right now. OH MY GOD HAKNYEON! What are we going to do!? Juyeon is not here too! I can't leave it all here and go back! Please! I-I.. I am... I need to be with Juyeon, and everyone else. Ruka."

"Hey! HEY! Don't panic, you can't be breaking down so easily. They have just traced you. Not caught you. And Juyeon is on his way already, he will be here tomorrow only. I am here to care of you and Ruka for now." Haknyeon made y/n sit down on the sofa again and went into the kitchen to make the drinks and serve them.

"Is papa sad or angry at Ruka?" Y/n suddenly realised that the child must have been scared to see him break down like that. "No bub, papa misses dad like you, so I was sad."

Ruka started referring to y/n as papa and Juyeon as dad after one time at a local play school y/n had to come up with a relation so that he could admit Ruka there. He just said, "I am his papa." And Ruka agreed with that and confirmed with the headmaster. Then at home, he asked what he should call Juyeon and the man replied "Dad, I am dad, papa and I are Ruka's parents. Okay, bub? You will not say to anyone that you don't have parents now. We are family right?" Juyeon hugged both of them and they slept like that with Ruka in the middle.

That whole night y/n cuddled with Ruka and wasn't able to sleep a wink. Haknyeon was in the hall the whole night and did not budge even when y/n asked him to rest as it was already six thirty. Around eight Juyeon arrived and hugged y/n as if he was afraid this was not a reality.

The whole next day y/n got updates from Juyeon on how the royal soldiers were raiding places with the official decree of their current kingdom as y/n's empire and this were both sister kingdoms and the royal families were related.

All through this fiasco y/n had made up his mind about what he was going to do and soon it was the time to execute his idea too. His family, Juyeon and Ruka came first. Juyeon might be labelled as a threat to the state, but it was only because he was anti-imperialist and this was not the most loved political stance by the royalties living on the looted wealth of the now-destroyed nations. Y/n will give back all the love and more, as much as he can, to protect them from his own murderous family.

As soon as he got to know that the market was raided and Juyeon and some others were arrested, he went to drop Ruka at one of his friend's place, but he got to know that his friend's father was arrested too. "Are you really a prince y/n?" Kira asked, she was Ruka's friend's mother and a friend of y/n too. "I don't think so, Kira. I will make it all right though, don't worry. I promise, just keep my baby safe till then." "You can count on your friend y/n. I won't let him out till you come back."

Y/n went straight to the campsite of the soldiers. As soon as the guards saw him they were on their knees, y/n hated these mannerisms, yet, this time he had to assert his power, he needs to save Juyeon. "Lead me to the commander-in-chief right now."

As he walked in the tent of the commander, he was greeted by another wave of bowings. "On your knees." Y/n was surprised by his own determinant voice. "Your Royal Highness! I assured His Majesty that you must have gone out to have some adventure and look, how much healthier and commanding you are! Just in time. We must head back to the capital sir, we must celebrate."

"First of all." Y/n said while he went ahead and sat on the largest chair in the centre of the room occupied by the commander before. "I want my sister to meet me here. And that is not a request, send this as an order from the heir to the spare. Go, now!"

Y/n knew he can't directly ask the commander to release the people they arrested. It was done by the king's order which y/n cant overdo.

It took almost a day for his sister to reach the base and once she did, y/n ordered all the soldiers to leave them alone.

"Your Royal Highness" Yumi courtesied and sat opposite to y/n.

"No need for formalities Yumi. I am no longer a prince." "Stop spewing nonsense y/n. You need to come back. Do you know the chaos you have caused? People are questioning the lineage because of your family drama with a lowly bandit. Yes, we all know. You are a prince, you cant go anonymous no matter in which kingdom you go."

"First of all, stop talking trash about my husband and my family and friends." "Husband!? What the actual fuck y/n? We are your family!" "LISTEN FIRST YUMI!" Y/n was on the verge.

"I called you here to declare to you my resignation as the heir apparent. Due to my inability to perform royal duties, I y/n leave the line of succession and you shall be the new Queen."

"I don't get it, y/n. Why?" "Yumi, you know very well that I am incapable of wars and manners and limitations." "I can help you!" "No! You do it instead! You are the head of the most successful troop, you are a high-ranking military officer, and you have all that it takes to lead. Please, do it." "What's the catch? What will you ask for as the gift for the throne?" "I want all the arrested civilians freed and Lee Juyeon declared my husband, officially, with your blessing."

There was a silence so long and devouring, y/n felt that it was all a waste. "Okay. But I will add that you will be welcomed back not as a secondary but as one of the head royals whenever you visit or wherever you are. That will ensure your safety. We cannot have spare royals running around causing harm to the image of the family. I will see about your so-called husband later. But, he will be released and marriage declared."

"Call me at your coronation Yumi. I will make you meet your nephew." Yumi was left shocked. "You know what... I expected."

The siblings went out and Yumi ordered the release of the arrested civilians.

It took all the strength in y/n to not start crying while hugging Juyeon in front of the whole base camp and his sister. "Yumi, Lee Juyeon, Juyeon, Yumi, the soon-to-be Queen." An awkward handshake followed and Juyeon actually courtesied too. While all the soldiers took time to understand what y/n had just declared.

The next few days y/n and Juyeon rested with Ruka's presence constantly making them realise how in love they were with each other and how much they loved Ruka, and how grateful they were to be with each other and have Ruka.

Y/n explained to Juyeon that he already decided to leave the throne this way as he knew things will get out of hand the day he heard the royal soldiers were here.

While Yumi ascended the throne y/n and Juyeon were granted special favours by the state and all the demands of anonymity and safety of y/n's family were fulfilled by Yumi as she promised, though it all caused a sour taste in the mouth of their parents and many high ranking officials, but, they did not resist it as pretence was the best way to avoid further scandals.

For now, y/n and Juyeon could be happy together as they planned their official wedding and honeymoon.
