Raven realizes that she can portal to Summer after bonding. The hijinks commence.

There was panic at first. The idea that she had managed to get so close to her teammate that she could use her portals for her? Qrow calmed her down quickly from that.

Next was disbelief and shock. Raven had never loved anyone besides Qrow enough to activate her semblance so knowing that she loved Summer enough for it…

Next was mischief. Portalling to Summer when she least expected it to grab her from behind, appearing out of nowhere to kiss her quickly and then disappear.

It was fun, she supposed, being able to get to her girlfriend at any time.

I guess the main issue next volume might be the racism towards Blake and then dealing with that together. Yang just being comforting and loving gf. Also like speaking over happy bees, we’ve seen Blake being so open and happy this volume so we will get an open and happy Yang with her girlfriend and I’m super excited to see her like that. Plus Yang is never letting her out of her sight again after what happened this last chapter. Sorry for rambling on lol

Yeah, I’m expecting the racism to be the main thing Blake deals with in the Atlas arc, and I love-hate it. It’s going to be such good storytelling, but I’m going to be so upset every time it comes up. It doesn’t seem like Yang has anything personal going on in Atlas, unless they bring up the Mercury stuff there, so she can focus her attention on helping Blake. Maaaaaybe there would be some stuff about human-faunus relationships, but they haven’t really said anything about how those are viewed, so it’s not something I’m expecting.

And I’m still hoping that Blake meets Raven when she eventually makes her way back into the main story. That could be a really interesting dynamic.

The Bees would be the softest girlfriends though. They’re already so soft as they are now, and they’re only going to get softer.

BUT YANG’S SEPARATION ANXIETY. Bad things happen whenever they’re separated from each other (and sometimes even when they’re not lmao), so they need to be holding hands at all times. And Blake likes being near Yang too, so it all works out.

Oh, you can bet that I’m going to be singing Nevermore, and I’m sorry in advance because I have a terrible voice. But I just can’t help but sing along whenever I listen to Nevermore. Also, I’m thinking of making a livestream for my Volume 6 soundtrack reaction, so we can actually sing it together.

I like it very much. They're extremely cute together so I didn’t mind at all when I started to see that it was what was going to happen. Part of me wishes it had actually happened sooner because the will-they-won’t-they thing dragged on a little for me but it was handled pretty well overall in my opinion.

I do have one other ship involving one of them that I also like but I had no problem with FitzSimmons happening instead and they were both equally fine from my perspective.
