This incredible gold headboard was first spotted in the 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒌: 𝑫𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒆 episode 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒂𝒏 𝑩𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒓 in 1995.   It was used again in the 1996 film 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒅𝒄𝒂𝒈𝒆.   Learn more at Bit.ly/Props026

I was using "thebirdcage" as a shorthand for "this wasn't supposed to be about Worm but it reminds me of it because that's my brain for you and I'm reblogging it for that reason.

I did this because reddit had /r/thebirdcage for their low-effort worm shitposts and references

...but the movie (still haven't finished it; ADHD life and all. Want to) deserves respect and not to have its tags diluted

and also fuck reddit (I desubbed from almost everything and cleared and deleted most of my accounts and most of my posts)

so my new tag for that kinda thing is

#Baumann Parahuman Containment Center (the official name of the prison that was nicknamed "The Birdcage" in the story)
