Do you like multiple POV’s? This is a controversial topic I know, you either love it or you hate it, like cilantro! I love them. And I just finished The Bone Shard Daughter, which was an amazing one! POV 1: A princess with no memories, necromancy, and a competition for the throne. POV 2: A smuggler searching for his stolen wife, magical creatures, a sinking island, and a growing mission to save children from a dangerous fate. POV 3: A governor’s daughter whose girlfriend turns out to be her father’s worst enemy. Who will she choose? POV 4: A woman on an island who wakes up from a spell and realizes she is a prisoner. This was a 5-star read for me, I loved every POV, I love where this story is going. This is the first of the Drowning Empire series and I will definitely be reading the next one. The fantasy elements and world building and character development are all on point.
