Tbh , I couldn't keep my tears while flipping through the pages of the prologue , at the end of this book. After the events of the ' Clockwork Prince ' while Tessa and Jem are busy preparing for their fairy tale wedding and Will starts bonding with his younger sister, a new problem starts brewing up in the dark alleyways of London. Stocks of yin fen , the drug keeping Tessa's soon-to-be husband surprisingly start vanishing. Without the drug Jem's health starts failing but he is hell bent on having this wedding , considering it to be his final shot towards happiness. With the death of Benedict Lightwood and his son-in-law, the Lightwood boys become a new addition to the London Institute , after promising to help Charlotte with the whole situation with the Magister. With Jem almost dying of fever , the problem worsens when Mortmain takes Tessa captive.
