We’re back?

Hi friends. It’s been a long, long time since we started this book blog. Six years, to be exact. In the meantime, we’ve had our fair share of inactivity. In fact, our last authentic content dates back to 2016... which, of course, is a tragedy. But, this post is a happy one. I’m back!

I’ve decided to reactivate this blog and start using it again for reviews and book photography. I’m currently studying an MA in Publishing in London and I’m fully immersed in the book culture here. Therefore, I wanted to get back on here and continue blogging the way we did before.

Thank you all for sticking with us these past few years, and I hope you continue to stick around in the future.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, at least in part! The pacing actually wasn't bad and I finished it pretty quickly, too. The event in the beginning was like POW! right away, you know? I was like whoa okay and then after that it took a few pages for the pacing to pick up again.

Good description of the love. 'Cause no. I know! It's totally not believable that she'd do something so drastic without thinking it through because that is a huge decision and she was pretty blasé about it. It was like she did it on a whim.

But if nothing else, it was an entertaining read. Very dramatic at times.

Hey, lovely!

Well, I think Suspicion had a lot of potential and certainly had interesting elements like mystery and magic, but the romance wasn’t believable at all (two love triangles!). The reveal was pretty out there which made the ending - and thus, the whole story - kind of flimsy. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I’d hoped. There were more downsides than upsides for me (which I explain a bit more in my review).
