Let’s Play ~ Chapter twenty-four
I was in the living room, pacing up and down. Jacob was in the medical wing, patching Lily's injuries up. None of the guys have changed since they got home, meaning they are sitting here covered in dirt and blood.
"S-She said she forgave us." Sunwoo said.
We look over at him and I see tears falling down his face. Hyunjae was looking down at his feet. I walk over to the two, pulling them into a hug. Both of them cling on and cry, making us know the feel guilty.
"Of course she will, she loves you like her family." I tell them.
"But if you do something again I'll personally hurt you." I added, making the two nod quickly.
"We don't know what overcame us, drink probably, but its not true, she's not annoying, she's our sister like you." Hyunjae said.
"We find you both annoying but we don't make you want to run away." Kevin responded.
"Okay, okay, we get it, we messed up and Lily said she forgave us, i-if she wakes up, we promise to do better." Sunwoo said.
"You will." Younghoon said.
We all sit quietly again, Changmin pulling me onto his lap as we wait for Jacob to come through. It takes another hour before he comes in, blood on his clothes and a tired expression.
"She's stable, a lot of stitches. She's going to be in some pain for a while, her right wrist is fractured." Jacob tells us.
"Is she awake?" Eric asks.
"Yeah, she's tired, but wants to see everyone." He answers.
"Let's go see her then." Sangyeon said.
We all followed Jacob through to the medical wing and into the room, where we see Lily sitting up in bed, she's hooked to a heart monitor, her right wrist in plaster and as usual, she greets us with the biggest smile she can manage.
"I've got medication in this to numb some of the pain, but still be gentle." Jacob said, pointing to a drip that is in Lily's hand.
"I'm okay Oppa." Lily mumbles.
I push Hyunjae and Sunwoo forward, the two walking over to Lily's bed, she gives them smiles as they stand either side of her. We stand back watching them.
"Lil, we're sorry about what we said." Sunwoo begins.
"I said I forgive you both. It hurt you saying that but I'll forgive you, don't do it again." She tells them.
"We won't sweetheart, promise." Hyunjae said.
"To try and make it up, we'll do anything you want." Hyunjae added.
"Okay, deal. There is something you could do for me, please." She said.
"What is it?" Sunwoo asks.
"I want bubble tea and ice cream. But your not allowed any." She said.
I laugh seeing their shocked faces. The two look at Jacob.
"She's asked for it, she can have it." He said.
Hyunjae and Sunwoo nod, leaving to get what Lily wants. I smile as Younghoon goes over, kissing his girlfriend's cheek.
"Your just as bad as us." I said, rubbing her arm.
"Picked up a few tricks Unnie." She said smiling.
I smile and just feel happy to have my best friend home and safe.
