Let’s guess baking! ~ Kim Younghoon

When it came to yours and Younghoon’s relationship, the other members and family would describe it as many word. The perfect match, sweet, cute, amazing, honest. However, when it came to you and your boyfriend baking together, then other words would ring to mind. A good attempt, horrible, a disaster. You and Younghoon both had a thing for guessing measurements, not listening to the recipe.

So that leads us to now. You and Younghoon were in the boyz dorm kitchen, attempting at cooking brownies. Younghoon got all the ingredients laid out after you read the recipe. As you two stood in the kitchen, checking everything, Kevin walked in.

“What are you doing?” He asks, eyeing everything up.

“Making brownies!” Younghoon exclaims in joy, you smile at the Canadian.

“Oh man, I’m going to leave, don’t burn the dorm down.” He said before leaving again.

“He’s just jealous of our method.” Younghoon said, kissing your head.

You smile at the tall boy before getting everything set out. You both start guessing the measurements and throw them into the mixing bowl. Once everything is mixed together, you place the mix in a tray and put it into the oven, the only correct thing being the temperature. Younghoon sets a timer as the two of you go and sit in the living room with a few of the others.

“Is the kitchen still standing?” Chanhee asks.

“We’re not burning anything!” You exclaim, making the boy laugh.

“Yes its only the measurements we guess!” Younghoon responds.

“So it will either be flat, gooey or too sweet.” Jacob said.

“I’m good with too sweet!” Eric exclaims.

You both laugh at the maknae and chat as you wait for the timer. When it goes off you both head into the kitchen and Younghoon pulls out the brownies. You both look at the brownies and see they have gone flat.

“Well, they still look good.” You said.

Younghoon nods and slices them into small squares, he puts them on a tray and takes them to the others, each member taking one. You both look at their faces to see their reactions.

“They actually taste good, just a bit flat.” Changmin said.

You both smile as the others nod in agreement, guessing baking does work out sometimes!
