Years ago, before the Ultimate tourney, Red had left Smash with his Ivysaur and Squirtle against his will. The Hands had kicked them out, only his Charizard remained in the battle. Red begrudgingly left his starter there as he goes back home, only thing left of him there a useless trophy who doesn’t even reference him but references his cousin. Back then Red was angry, who he was angry at it was hard to say. Charizard just felt bad for his trainer...but maybe it was a good thing he was out of Smash. Humans aren’t very durable, and that robot thing almost exploded him to bits and Charizard had no way to come out of his Pokeball.
Charizard would battle in the tourney to make his trainer proud, even trying to defeat Mario in his introduction because he believed he decided who stayed and left Smash (which isn’t true, now he knows it was the hands) but he could still feel that Red was angry with him...
But on the bright side without Red, Ivysaur and Squirtle slowing him down he did get a bit stronger from not worrying about them all the time. However after today’s battle maybe it wasn’t so great to be without a trainer...
It was a blur...he got the Smash Ball, felt whoever it was evolving, then it just...happened. Rage. Extra burst of power. The first few times weren’t that bad, maybe he’d feel a bit tired afterwards but...this was different...
Laying on the last battlefield, the fire type weakly opened his eyes. His body hurt, he couldn’t even move one limb of his body... He stares ahead at the battle...it was a horrible sight. This stage was in ruins, badly wounded Smashers on the ground. Some of them had burns, lots of them...was that from...?
He tries to get up again but to no avail...why did he think he should be without his trainer? What kind of idiot Pokemon leaves his trainer like this!? Arceus he must have been the worst kind of Pokemon... the only thing he could move was his head.
“Graaaah! Gruuaaaah!!” [Red! Reeeed!!]
If only he didn’t go on his own...

Jeff could barely describe to himself how he felt.
It was unmistakably off. His body feels heavy and awkward and like he’s piloting his body instead of being in it. When he looks down at his arms, they’re not really what he remembers them looking like... and the gun he carries doesn’t feel like his. But he built guns, right? So maybe he just forgot he made this one...?
All that felt certain in Jeff’s muddled and too-fast thoughts are that he should follow Galeem. That was the only clear idea of where he was, what he was doing, and even why he was there in the first place. Trusting Galeem and destroying all that opposed it felt like the right thing to do. It was like how he had fought... whatever it was called. For some reason he can’t remember, his thoughts are too clouded by ones telling him to fight those opposing Galeem.
So when Jeff sees someone approaching, he’s not surprised that he just knows that they’re opposing Galeem. He just knew. But he’s ready to put his all into his orders thoughts to destroy this perpetrator. Automatically, he pulls out a gun and aims it at the intruder. His voice is distorted by speaking through a body that isn’t his.
“You are opposing Galeem. Through any means necessary, I will destroy you.”

Lucas stared at the blue haired young man. He had never seen anyone like that before in person; though something about him might be familiar. But where had Lucas seen someone like that?
Maybe from one of the many games Ninten plays? That would make sense; as Lucas did like watching his friend play a variety of video games including RPGs. He’d even invite Lucas to join in on the game and teach him how to play it. But there were too many to count that Lucas could even remotely recognize.
It was then that Lucas had realized how long he had been staring while in thought. He flinched as he snapped back into reality and started getting nervous; it was rude to stare at someone who you didn’t know! Lucas could feel his elbows digging into his sides in shame.
“I-I..um...I’m sorry! I di-didn’t mean to stare at you!” Lucas profusely apologized, trying to keep whatever composure the blonde had left.

A little pichu scampers pass the feet of the fighters. Their green backpack bounces on their back as they swerve through the crowd. A tasty berry biscuit was in their muzzle. With some swift moves, they emerged from the sea of characters and perches on the couch.
What a relief! They removed the cookie from their mouth, and was about to take a bite...until they see a pair of eyes fall upon them.
“...pichu...?”

“Are you sure we’re not... Lost?” Mac’s hands tucked into his pockets, a brow raised up at the other. Despite his questioning, though, Mac’s footsteps did not come to a halt. The duo had long since strayed from the original trail through the forest, into the thicker foliage, winding through the trees seemingly without a lot of thought.
Mac’s sense of direction was pretty keen, and he took note when they seemed to become a little aimless, beginning to search for landmarks in the environment so they could make their way back safely. He wasn’t even sure what they were looking for, or why they had even asked him to tag along. But he’d been free at the time, and he decided, why not.
“I can open up a map on m’ phone if ya need it, kid.” He offered, head tilting to the side as he stepped up beside them. He wasn’t sure if he’d even get signal down here, but it was worth a shot.

“Long time no see, Nessy.”
The King placed his hands on his hips and shifted his weight onto one leg. His eyes scanned over the smaller boy’s figure, then shifted back to his face to grin deviously.
“You’ve grown up a li’l since I last saw ya. Just a li’l, though.” His tone, despite his words, was sarcastic and laced with thoughts of superiority. “How ya been?“

"You're Lucas, right? Can I ask you something?"
