Guys i watched The Bride! in IMAX today.
Heres like a debrief i guess:
Again im on my knees for Maggie Gyllenhaal. This movie was so funsies but like fucked up as well. I love the view point that Maggie takes on Frankenstein, n the fact that no she’s isn’t Frankenstein’s bride, she is the bride! #feminism. Although like Frankie was a bit special for like reviving a woman just cause he was lonely, i guess at the end of the day he was just a lonely little horny boy, i mean buddy was pushing 100. I really like the idea of mad scientists so yes yes. I lowkey felt so bad for Frankie cause he’s so like babygirl i guess. #welovechristianbale. Onto Jessie, like fuck yes girl i mean her acting is so fucking amazing. She plays the portrayal of a “monster” perfectly n i thought it was extremely cool. The sort of possessed or split personality demeanour was super cool too. The overall aesthetic of the film is also something i appreciate, like it was dirty and ominous and cool. The dancing sequence. I gasped and screamed when boyf Jake showed up. I loved the ending, probably my fav scene, i mean #couplegoals. I think that it’s a flaw that i find their chemistry fucking beautiful and that that is how i want my future boyf to be like. I mean they’re in love, monster love. But like overall, amazing.
