What’s the first thing they usually do to get the other’s attention?

We know canonically what Aang does to get attention.

Azula's like a cat. When she wants attention, she will make it known immediately. She'll call from the other side of the house, outright demand whatever she wants (she is getting better at saying please first tho), or plop down into his lap if she feels like she's been ignored for too long.

2. How comfortable are they with touching/being touched by the other?

Aang is very casual about touch as a love language. A hand on her waist here, a surprise hug there, walking with his arm around her or holding her hand from here to there, a kiss on the forehead or the back of her hand anywhere. He doesn't go full PDA out of respect for her feelings of privacy, but anyone who sees them together in public can tell within seconds that they're a couple just by seeing the ways he looks at and touches her.

Azula knows that them being in proximity alone is a political statement. He's the Avatar, she's the Fire Princess. She knows how it looks when others see his arm around her or her hand in his, but Aang's touch is so comfortable for her that it's easy to ignore the stares.

When they're alone, Aang will often let her be the one to initiate contact because he recognizes what it means for her to be the one to start a hug, cuddle in bed, etc. When he's the one to start it, she'll tease him for being needy and "lovey-dovey as a child" even as she relaxes into being the little spoon. Can't let the Avatar know just how much he makes her happy, after all. Love is a battlefield and she can't let anyone beat her. Or, at the very least, she can't let the other person know that they're beating her. A princess has to have to her pride, after all.

5. How would they react if the other told them “I love you” or “I trust you”?

When Aang says it to Azula, she'll respond with a joke and tease him for being so soft and sentimental.

Deep down, however, she finds it really touching. For a woman who has struggled with years of feeling that love is conditional, that she is unworthy of love without doing something to earn it, that trust is for fools, and having to unlearn all of that, having someone in her life who trusts and loves her for who she is with no strings attached and no catches is the equivalent of a person who grew up in the middle of a desert now living next to an ocean. Aang is fully aware of the effect his words have on her.

On the rare occasion where she's the one saying it to him, Aang knows what it means for her to bring herself to be the one to say it to another person and will respond accordingly. He knows she'll call him a softie afterwards, but he's played their game long enough to know how it works.
