I was speaking to my uncle, who also has a severe ADHD , and we were discussing how we both have certain outlets of obsessions with certain things. Like for example he's always been obsessed with cars and they're his passion and for me it's computers and video games and whenever we are in that environment we hyper focus like crazy. I was wondering if anyone else also experiences this with their ADHD?
I think most ADHDers do to an extent. Some of us have less luck with hyperfocus (I can get stuck on things that aren't actually an interest, for example) but overall I think it does happen for pretty much everyone.
