Hi there buddy! It’s so nice to hear from you - I’m hanging in here, hope you are doing great yourself!

As for the question, lately, I’ve been trying to be more at peace with life in general and with fandom in particular, and that includes being content with the appreciation my stories get- there are some people who enjoy them, and I am very grateful for that handful. That being said, you know I write for a couple of rarepairs regularly, and for a lot of others every once in a while, so when stories like It ain’t easy wearing green {Morseshot} or all's well that ends well {FitzHunter} gather up few readers, I know it probably speaks more of the size of the ships fanbase and not necessarily that much of the quality of my stories. It surprises me more when I write for ships I will consider ‘popular’ as in ‘almost everyone I know likes them at least a little bit’ and the stories tank, like The soul of the universe is love {Mackelena} or We are both showing hearts {TripDaisy}. I choose to believe, still, that what people low-key likes does not equal to what people will read, and don’t get sad about my stories not being up to the task!

“Do you trust me?”

Daisy giggled, half breathless, half nervous as she watched sparks dance over Lincoln’s fingers. “Yes. But this is a little out there, even for me.”

“Seriously?” Lincoln laughed, the electricity on his fingers disappearing as his hand dropped to her knee. “I let you use your powers on me last week! How is this too far out there?”

She scoffed and rolled her eyes, shoving at him with her foot. “That was your idea! And also my powers are just vibrations. Not literal electricity.”

Lincoln raised a disbelieving eyebrow at her, slyly trailing his hand up the inside of her thigh. “You say that as if your powers can’t snap cement like a twig.”

“Okay, fine. Fair point.” Daisy shuddered as static tickled her skin, letting her legs fall further open in invitation. “Just take it easy on my noonie.”

He drew back with a snort, the sparks on his fingers dying out once more. “Your what?!”

“You know…” Daisy wiggled her eyebrows suggestively, “My secret pocket. My vajayjay. Coochie. Mancrusher. Whatever.”

Lincoln stared at her, frozen for a moment before collapsing into a fit of laughter, his forehead coming to rest against her navel. “You’re ridiculous.”
