i haven’t watched the new helluva episode yet, but i have seen bits here and there on the dash and i know that imps and hell hounds can shift into a human disguise when they go to the living world. now, given the already existing differences between hellborn creatures and demons living in the Pride ring, it’s safe to say (or at least infer) that demons can’t look 100% human if they can ever go back to Earth - and that’s the sort of asset Valentino wishes he has. my Valentino makes deals with humans on the regular, and even if he gets summoned quite often it’d be better if he could go on Earth whenever he wanted and have a safe disguise to walk around and find new victims. sure, the imps and hell hounds that work for him can do that in his place just fine, but it still bothers him.

A low chuckle escaped his lips as he spit out some blood himself.

“Well then” he said as he pulled out a cigarette to place inbetween his lips.

“we’ll have to make sure they don’t get the bloody chance then” John was not a hero by any means. but he was a damn sore loser.

“how bad is it? can you move?”

                     Faith's trying to stand, get her land legs back, "Can't have got far, not in the shape we left 'em." but the facts are that this kind of vampire is fast as hell - blurry, even. Catching up with them's going to be a job of work and a fucking dramatic one, at that.

She winces, moves her hand away from the only wound that matters; one that still bleeding, just beneath her left shoulder, "Just a flesh wound, pretty sure I’ll live." and her leg’s not broken but it’s definitely fucked up, so there's that. She's standing, though, gets a grip on John's shoulder like he's now her designated cane, "Nobody gets away, right? Nobody. Not tonight."

every me and every you 100%. i'm obsessed with it. it's about matt and peter slowly falling in love over the course of guardian devil and the bendis/maleev dd series. originally it was supposed to be this kind of 90s based fic where matt and peter meet at a gay bar and start this secret affair unbeknownst to their wives.

now it's kind of turning into a different animal. it's a little bit sweeter, i guess? i think it's because the og vibe was inspired by every me and every you by placebo, then i heard dream attack by new order and it completely changed the vibe from "oh we're both terrible, selfish people who love each other" to "you're the light of my life and i feel like i don't deserve you, and i'm scared of being vulnerable, but it's worth it because i love you." which feels better.
