Hello lovelies! 💗🕊️This month of November I'll be analyzing Hozier's astrological/human design chart within the context of his music and overall individuality. This will be the first article I'll be discussing in a series of analyzing different figures and topics! I will mainly be focusing on Human Design bodygraphs/concepts in analysis alongside discussing other essential esoteric systems and symbolisms in astrology, gene keys, the I-Ching, etc.

🌹II. Earthly, Mystical Themes of Love (♀) and Wisdom (♄)
A key defining motif that shows up in Hozier's lyrics often speak of the earthly, mystical, mythological, sacrilegious. These themes are heavily influenced by two of his Personality Gates:
Personality Venus in Gate 19 🟤(7'37 - 13'15 Aquarius)
Personality Saturn in Gate 61 🔮(20'45 - 26'22 Capricorn)
To begin with, Gates 19 and 61 are part of the Codon Ring of Gaia:

🌹For the earthly, mystical themes in Hozier's lyrics/music, the astrological positions of his Personality Venus in Gate 19 and Saturn in Gate 61 serve as the foundational essences that fuel the narratives behind his perspectives on romantic love (Venus) and wisdom (Saturn). In the birth chart/bodygraph, Moon, Venus and Saturn are one's foundational frameworks for embodiment which aid one's Sun/Earth expressions. We'll be addressing Hozier's Saturn and Moon position further on in this series. This post discusses his Personality Venus in Gate 19.

🟤Gate 19 Center: Root Center
The Root Center is a Pressure Center in the Human Design Bodygraph/Rave Chart. It pressures one to move forward in the process of physical evolution. It is a grounding energy, sourced from the Earth herself.
In the I-Ching, Gate 19/Hexagram 19's lines are Lake over Earth ䷒ . It is interesting to see the prominence of imagery reminiscent of 'lake' settings and earthiness in Hozier's media/visuals.

🟤Gate 19 Shadow of Co-Dependence:
In the shadow expression of Gate 19, one can become co-dependent especially in the realm of relationships. Gate 19 is the harmonic to Gate 49, forming channel 19-49, the channel of Synthesis. The mundane expressions of 19-49 is seen through the emotional aspects of tribal connections. In the context of relationships, Gate 49 expresses the need for Gate 19 to obey its principles. Gate 49 either accepts or rejects others who are in need of its relational principles, it represents marriage/divorce, and symbolizes the cattle-herder/the butcher. Channel 19-49 is associated with the tribal🤝emotional wave🌊in the mystical circuit 🕊️.
🟤Being part of the tribal circuitry which emphasizes on touch as the mode of communication or 'love language' in the Root to Solar Plexus connection, we can see the shadow expression of the 19-49 dynamic in the song 'Cherry Wine':
The way she tells me I'm hers and she is mine
Open hand or closed fist would be fine

🟤Gate 19 Gift of Sensitivity:
The gift expression of Gate 19 has the sensitive capacity to tune into the energies of their environment, reaching the beyond and the otherworldly. Those with this gift sense the needs of others and feel the root pressure to fulfill these needs.

Another key note about Gate 19 is its place within the Mystical Circuit. The Mystical Circuit emphasizes experiences which meld one into a larger whole, and this is often in the form of worshipping something, or someone, we deem higher than ourselves. In an interview, Hozier has spoken about infusing spirituality into his work, and we can also see the prevalence of the themes and energies of worship in many of his songs.
🟤Gate 19 Siddhi of Sacrifice
The highest expression of Gate 19 is the siddhi of sacrifice.
