I assume because of your presence at the July-a-Thon party the other night, you must be aware of what happened. But since I see the investigation is still on, I would like to contribute with what I know.

I’m not sure if you are part of the investigation but I don’t know who I had to refer to, and honestly, I would rather talk to you than any other Cardine. I don’t know you much, but your brother always talk well of you, so that makes me trust you.

[Ryder sits down at his desk with his laptop open. He stares at the screen for a long time. The longer he looks at the blank email, the faster his heart begins to tick. None of this seems like a good idea. Cooper only did him a favor once because of what Ryder did for Blaine. But Ryder wasn’t asking for a favor now. He was just possibly incriminating himself. Talking to Cooper scared him.

A memory flashes by and he’s back in the room with Blaine contacting his brother in their panic. ‘Wait, no!’ ‘You can’t.’ ‘He’ll kill me this time.’

Was his own fear worth risking other people’s safety? No. He It wasn’t.]

I can admit upfront that I’m scared to be writing this. I don’t feel safe talking to you. I don’t trust Cardines. And what I know of you is that you’ll kill me the second I fuck up. And what I know of you is that you care for your brother very much.

If there is anything that I can add to your investigation into the events of JulyaThon, I will help. Though my memory is shot because for a brief period of time, I was an immortui. I hope you won’t hold that fact against me, as it was obviously against my will.

One moment I was in a room with Blaine, Santana Lopez, Jackson Blackson, and a CCB guy I don’t know the name of. Then I was ‘waking up’ outside with Kurt Hummel, Kitty Wilde, and Rachel Berry. Kitty used holy magic to get rid of the curse on me.

You’ll notice more names in this than I gave during my official interview. I dislike naming L. Naturae when dealing with Cardines because I don’t want any of this to be used against someone I know. I think we both know that it could and would be. It doesn’t take much for an LN to be killed, does it?

Anyways, Blaine could tell you what happened during the time I was not in control of myself.

After I woke up outside, there was another immortui that we fought and Kitty Wilde dispelled again with holy magic. Santana Lopez joined us again and joined in the next fight that quickly began. I don’t know the name of the creature we faced, but it took the appearance of my best friend, Marley Rose, probably because it knew I would implicitly trust her. When this creature faced Kurt, I don’t know who it was that appeared. This shape shifting creature was incredibly strong, and would change form for whoever it was focusing on most. We fought it as much as we could but it disappeared into the ground. I don’t know where it went.

Another monster of the same type was attacking Hunter Clarington and Kitty, taking shapes I would guess mean something to them. By the time I was going to help fight the creature, Kitty was using this holy smite bomb. It was powerful enough to turn the creature into ash. I am certain it was destroyed.

After that, a group of more of us gathered so we could heal the wounded. I was left to watch over Rachel and Kitty while the rest went to fight the monster. I was with them and my familiar until the other group was able to beat whatever it was they faced. Whatever they did worked because the remaining immortui were killed.

Then the Cardines showed up too late. Bubbled Rachel and Kitty. Hunter and I left. I was so tired I didn’t stay around to check on the others.

I reported the next morning for my interview, which you have access to I bet.

I think that’s all. Please don’t arrest me. Or kill me.
