Quinton and I have had such an busy year. After 2+ years of long distance marriage, Hubs moved to New York City (in August) and since then we’ve been working to find our new normal in this crazy concrete jungle.⁣ ⁣ Our work schedules haven’t allowed us to spend very much time with one another since we’ve moved back together - however, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were both incredibly special. This is our first Christmas together in New York ♥️⁣ ⁣ We board a plane for Italy on New Year’s Eve and could not be more excited for some much needed quality and vacation time. We will be celebrating 5 years of marriage and Hubby’s 30th Birthday. One of the top questions I’m asked frequently is: How do you stay motivated and committed to all the things you do?⁣ ⁣ I stay committed to all of the things I do because I recognize the opportunities I have to build generational wealth for my family. Wealth in every sense of the word. ⁣ ⁣ My “why” is connected to the people I care about the most. When my biological mother was pregnant with me, she got into a car accident. A truck ran a red light and T-boned the car she was riding in. ⁣ ⁣ The impact of this accident is what caused her to go into labor with me on October 8, 1990. That car accident could have ended my life, but it didn’t. God had other plans 🙌🏽⁣ ⁣ If you’ve ever wondered why I get so excited about my birthday, this is why.
