Review: The most controversial of all of Brown's work and the second book of Langdon saga. This novel is about the stirring campaign of Robert Langdon in Paris, which could wobble the foundations of Christianity. There he leads a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo Da Vinci. These apparent clues are evidently decipherable but ingeniously disguised by the well-known painter. We can coin this novel as the most successful mystery-thriller book of 2000's. Mystery writing has never been this so thrilling since Christie and Doyle. Personally, this is indeed one of the best books ever written. It kickstart my journey as a bibliophile. All that said, I am really a fan of Mr. Brown. Trust me, Dan Brown's magnificent aptitude on researching for facts and adroitly weaves it to thrilling stories is just one of his immaculate prowess! Once you open his book, you will surely be intrigued and he will never let you down. I was super-enthralled that this book specifically explores a dark facet of humanity which is the conspiracy about Christianity. I tell you, this kind of theme is colossal to be utilized, and will really hit those people who are really devoted for religions. I think that is the spellbinding nature of this novel that will make you clung to it. The way the secrets were unveiled, the stimulating actions and the way troubles were put into execution, this is a real page-turning material! It is significant to note that this book is still a work of fiction even though it was evidently well-researched. Conspiracy theories are thrown through various chapters like puzzles in a way that speculation on whether it is a fact or a fiction is left for the reader.
