1. Why don’t you ship it?
Tbh I just don't find Padmé terribly compelling? Like she was a baby politician, a child queen, fought off an invasion, has a ridiculous murder-peacock wardrobe and these grand sweeping ideals, but like. She has no bite? No edge? Instead she's this Platonic ideal of, like, a tragic doomed love dead wife, instead of the hit mess of a person that she should have been. I mean she impulse-marries a 19yo when she's like 24! She's been a head of state since she was like thirteen! That's fucked! Her brain should be soup! But instead she's just the Dead Wife of the franchise and that's on George, RIP.
2. What would have made you like it?
Lol the above I suppose. If any of her massively traumatizing life (because yeah being in charge of actual human (or whatever) lives from the age of ten and your entire existence being a public servant is fucking traumatic) was actually addressed or impacted her personality. Instead the majority of her character is Looking Like Natalie Portman. Again, RIP.
3. Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?
The concept is very good and I have no issue with it in the movies (don't talk to me about TCW, I have nothing nice to say about that trash fire), I just personally am not drawn to actively shipping it.

1. What made you ship it?
I was last-minute nominating ships for either the Rarepair Exchange or Maythe4th and frantically throwing characters that interest me at each other and when I looked at Din and Maul next to each other it was like part of the universe slotted into place. Oh yeah, those two'll work.
2. What are your favorite things about the ship?
The absolute fucking ridiculousness of it all. The rich history and backstory of Maul that Din doesn't know jack about shit about. The hilarity of Din carting around one of the last scions of the Jedi and hooking up with one of the only survivor of the line of Bane. Two by right of conquest Mand'alors who actually don't give a good goddamn fuck about Mandalore. The fact that if Maul looked at the Darksaber and said "hey that's mine, some little teenaged shit stole it from my fucking house" then there's a good chance Din would be like "oh wow that's crazy do you want it back" fully knowing that it would drive Bo-Katan around the fucking bend. Yhe fact that it's entirely possible Grogu would fucking know who Maul is, to some extent, and either side-eye him like a motherfucker or trust in the fact that his dad has him well in hand lmao. The fact that all Din wants is his family and all Maul wants is a friend. There's so much, there's so fucking much.
3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
.........i don't think there's enough content for there to be any kind of fanon? But given how shitty the fanon is surrounding Din and Maul separately, i'm sure if dinmaul becomes more popular i'll find something lol.

I just don't like Kylo, I don't find him interesting or compelling. He's not even crunchy.
2. What would have made you like it?
If Kylo was a better character? But then maybe not, because my condolences to Mr. Driver but I find him deeply unpleasant to look at or listen to. RIP.
