her kindness and love for all pokemon~ she may prefer the rock types but all pokemon are worthy of her love and caring

Aster and carnation with toshinori?

Did you know that Toshi represents one of my favorite aspects of a series that saved my life? I love this tall sunflower so muCH

This one got real long so I’ll put it under a cut.

Aster: tell us about a gentle moment shared with your f/o.

Fun fact: I’m an audiophile. My friends could recount all the times I chided them for using shitty headphones. I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time saving an inordinate amount of money to afford the best headphones I possibly can. I make playlists at least once a day, never drive without my music blasting through the stereo, and have a nightly before bed jam session. I LOVE music.

Toshinori knows this, of course. It’s hard not to notice my love of music. To this day I don’t know what inspired him to this but he came over one day, a CD in hand. He’d made me a playlist and burned it to a god damn CD, old school style. What’s more is that nearly every song on it was horrendously romantic and it’s melodies were slow.

We stuck the CD in my laptop slow danced in the kitchen.

Carnation: tell us about a moment when your f/o was proud of you.

I don’t get stage fright. I am extremely comfortable speaking in front of people except… when I have to read my poetry aloud. You see, I suck at poetry. But I was also taking a creative writing class and part of my grade depended on writing a poem and reading it to the class. Yeah if you thought that stuff ended in high school I am here to disappoint you. It still happens in college.

Anyway, I suck at poetry like I said. And that’s not me being humble or insecure. I genuinely suck at it. So I was extremely nervous about reading this dumb poem of mine. But I did it. I went up there, I read it, I took the criticism like a champ, I regret it and still cringe about it to this day… but I did it! Toshi was proud of me for having the guts to do it and for subsequently earning an A in the class.

Shoulda been an A+ but that wasn’t the time to argue about that
