1. Favorite character from any work of fiction ever?
Hermione Granger. She is honestly one of the biggest a reasons I focused on school and didn't think being bossy was a bad thing. She is the reason I didn't just go with the "girly" crowd and end up with really terrible fake friends in middle and high school. She shaped my childhood.
2. What would your dream career be?
If money was no object I would want to open a Harry Potter summer camp. Its been my dream since I didn’t get my letter when I turned 11 to bring the books to life in person for kids. It would be intense and WWOHP-esque. And we would have all the classes offered at Hogwarts offered to campers. And each week would be one book. So there would be a troll first week, dueling club second week, Yule ball fourth week, etc. There would be Quidditch teams and returning campers could be prefects. I would absolutely love being able to bring the magic of the books alive and to be able to introduce a deeper love and knowledge of the series to a new generation.
3. What is the next big thing you are looking forward to?
COLLEGE!! I am a rising freshman at the University of Chicago. I’m extremely excited for the new experiences that come with college (both the social and academic). I am very ready to get out of NJ and meet some new people (even though I have loved the BHS!)
4. Describe a reoccurring dream.
When I was young (5-9) I used to have a recurring dream that would get progressively longer each time. The end result was this: there was a baby alligator in my house. Confused, I look outside and see it's mom in front of my next door neighbors house. Realizing it's lost, I pick the baby up and put it outside where it can see it's mom. But the mom thinks I stole the baby. So she starts walking menacingly towards my house. I slam the door, which turns to straw (woven straw but still). I go to the window near the staircase leading to the second floor, where my mom is holding my dad's legs as he sits on the window sill while he fixes the roof (how a man who is 5'6" could reach the roof from the first floor I have no clue). I tell them to get inside and close the window because the alligator mom is trying to get me. They say they can't because they have to fix the roof. Then the alligator sneaks in the window past my parents, with a creepy ass grin on. I run up to my room and start to climb up to the top bunk (I share a room with my sister). I turn and start pulling the ladder up so it can't follow me. The alligator bursts into the room... And thanks me for returning her baby to her. It was literally one of the scariest dreams I've ever had and she was just trying to thank me. After she thanked me I never had the dream again, but it took at least 8 time for it to get to that point. I have been terrified of alligators ever since.
5. What is your best childhood memory?
Take your kids to work day at my dad's old job (Paine Weber/UBS). We went until I was like 8 and he got a new job. They set up really fun, awesome stations like finger painting and those pieces of paper that spin and you put paint in and it comes out with cool designs. We would get all dressed up and spend all day there it was really fun! (And we would get free stuff from his coworkers - I lived for the squishy "stress ball" apples this one lady gave me).
6. What super power would you want to have if you were a super villain?
I would want to the ability to affect probabilities. Like what is the chance that you will do my bidding? 100%. What is the chance I'm the ruler of the world? 100%. What is the chance that the peasants will overthrow me? 0%. It would be great.

7. What was the last book you tried to finish but just couldn’t?
Heart of Darkness. I had to read it for class and I couldn't get past the first chapter.
8. Who is your favorite actor/actress of all time?
Leonardo DiCaprio. Love all his work (Revolutionary Road might be my favorite movie ever - you should watch it!!!)
9. You’re on Death Row. What’s your last meal going to be?
I love pasta so cheese ravioli, Mac and cheese, garlic bread, some Caesar salad so I can eat the croutons, and fried wontons. And diet coke to drink.
10. What is your favorite sound?
I really love the sound of rain/thunder. It helps me sleep.
