Probably the most thought provoking wine I've tasted in the last six months, the @kaeslerwines "The Fave" Grenache. Grenache can be divisive in Australia, people remembering the fruit bombs of days past. "The Fave" is up there with some of the best I have tasted, the winemakers applying influences from Burgundy rather than the Rhone. And the result is totally unexpected and more-ish! The nose has this memorable beetrooty meatiness with hints of dirt. The palate offers further twists...instead of the classic red fruit, you get blackberries, coffee & chocolate with a liquorice finish. An amazing and thought provoking wine, I am truly looking forward to another one. aw I woke up from my nap and my parents came home from their shopping trip and my dad bought me really cute high rise jeans AND they fit <3 sidenote: my mom never remembers my sizes/wasnt with him when he got them so this was impressive for him.
