To Delight In :: Orochimaru and Tsunade

The day had been long. It had been filled with nothing but boring, tiresome meetings and Shizune reminding her “paperwork, paperwork” Now usually Tsunade didn’t mind Shizune, but her own patience was running low- not like she held a lot of patience anyways.
Sighing, she leaned back in her chair, and looked at a picture of her own teammates. A soft genuine smile made it’s way to the Slug Princess’s face as she thought about all the trouble they would get into. Her punching Jiraiya for his perverted ways; although she was pretty sure that Orochimaru had been just as much as a pervert as Jiraiya, just not very vocal about it. The bell test they had taken and Jiraiya being tied to the pole. Orochimaru finally leaving Konoha. Her amber orbs saddened at the thought.
Shaking the thoughts out of her mind, Tsunade stood up making her way to the window where she opened it. “Maybe a small breeze will do me some good.” She offhandly spoke to herself before hearing her door open.
“Tsunade-sama! Did you do the paperwork” Shizune asked as she breezed in.
Laughing, Tsunade went to her desk. “Shizune, It’ll be done. Go home”
Shizune nodded, and left and Tsunade laid her head on her desk after sitting there and watched her clock, tick tick
Orochimaru made himself comfortable in the Hokage Tower’s window sill whilst concealing his chakra presence and being as silent as the grave. Perched upon the narrow ledge wasn’t as uncomfortable as it seemed. He wasn’t a small man per say, but having been standing next to the large and formidable Jiraiya his whole life made him forget this. He rests his arm on his lifted knee as he afforded the village a glance.
He could find nothing out of place as the moonlight barreled through the empty familiar streets. He was slightly impressed and slightly disappointed the townsfolk had rebuilt the village so well after half an army, an enraged jinchuuriki and a giant two-headed snake crashed into it and killed their beloved leader. That’s the Leaf for you: populated with the most determined idiots you’ll ever meet. You could practically smell the righteous indignation for miles.
With that thought he turned his attention to gaze in the Hokage’s office. Even it looked much the same as it always had, granted an extra portrait lining the wall. He laughed to himself. Orochi never thought the Senju bloodline would make it back into office, but there was that stubborn blonde woman putting on her best determined face in the last plainly-framed portrait. Oh- there she was at her desk.
It didn’t take a genius to infer what photograph she was sighing at, but it did make him uncomfortable. In a way he was saddened but also mad that it even still mattered. For a twisted visage of a man that had devoted himself to knowing everything it was ironic that he failed to understand much of human emotion when it presented itself in him. That, in turn, frustrated him further. To stoically avoid a downward spiral he noted how bizarre it was to see Tsunade the Princess of Poisons confined behind a desk scattered in paper she should no doubt be attending to.
His train of thought was cut short when she rose and walked toward the window beside the one which he was lingering beyond so casually, nearly camouflaged by moonlight painting everything the same color as his skin. He arched a brow as the woman shouted in reply to her flighty steward whom had flitted into the office. He made no sound and merely watched his old comrade unlatch her window and sit back down. He took the opportunity to drift in through the new opening wearing a crooked smile brought on by a familiar nagging.
“Your glorified living assistant reminds me of my glorified living assistant.” He stated into the silence of her office, leaning on the wall behind her with his arms crossed over his chest.
