Just been a bad day....
Jade sat in the back of the officer’s vehicle, taking a small catnap while the officer attempted to get the guy, who was now being treated for several broken ribs and a broken wrist to press charges. If the officer only knew that Jade was marking this guy for later on, when the sun went down, well, he’s a cop, Jade knew they were stupid. In fact, had she not been minding her own business today, she’d have been armed and this man would be very much dead. Seriously! He was drunk in the middle of the day and the thought cross his mind to grope the ass of the girl walking in front of him. His mistake was, well there were several in that time frame, but the girl in question happened to be Jade. She had a bag of groceries and she was heading back to her tiny hotel room to relax, but now she had to deal with this. There was a knock on the window and she lifted her green eyes up with a playful grin. “Oh please tell me you’re taking me home with you and we get to play house…”
The officer blinked a little at her, probably contemplating the offer, and he was halfway to accepting then he remembered the weight of the ring on his finger. He opened the door and shook his head with a condescending smile. “Sorry, ma’am not tonight. Wife would get jealous.”
Jade grinned as she slipped out of the car, handing the cuffs over to the officer as she enjoyed that they still became shocked when anyone did that. “Too bad, she could play too…” She leaned over and picked up the plastic bag filled with her groceries as she looked to the ambulance at the man who now seemed to have grown another pair as he glared at her. Oh, keep glaring, baby. That limp I gave you is gonna make me so happy tonight. “Do ya need anything ma’am?” Jade turned and looked at the officer with a shake of her head. “Nope. Just don’t wanna see your ugly face ever again.”
As Jade slipped onto the roof top of the hospital, crouching onto the cold concrete as she watched the door of the emergency room, she contemplated the ways she’d make him scream. Hell, she didn’t even want to use a poison. That would just dull the effects, she wanted him to feel everything she did to him. The man she had marked with broken ribs, a shatter ankle and a broken wrist had grabbed her in public, and that was something she wasn’t up for dealing with. Originally, she had just come to this ratty old town to unwind, maybe find a guy for a night and toss him out into the alley when she was done with him. But this, she sighed and shook her head. Maybe it was her tensions were just high, after everything she’d been through in her life, to come back to just beating on serial gropers and rapists? She had to admit, if they were dead, she at least felt a small bit of piece, until the next one.
Normally she’d have more purpose in a kill, money being the main one. But this one felt too personal, even for her. She stood up, staying on the rooftops as she followed his limping form across the street. He was murderously slow, but she did that to him. She couldn’t really complain, when he slipped down an alley, she grinned and found herself a fire escape to slip down, and as she landed behind the dumpster to give her cover, she stretched her fingers out a little as she approached him. “I’ve heard that smoking is quite bad for your health….” She plucked the cigarette from his mouth and took her for herself as she sent a knee into the man’s side, the opposite side of the ribs she’d broken before, forcing him back onto the street where he began to cry for help. “Oh sweetheart…” She grinned as she took a drag from the cancer stick. “NO ONE GIVES A SHIT ABOUT YOU!”
