Hi! I wanted to share a study tip that works for me - the timer method never worked for me because sudden loud noises =/= not my cup of tea. So what I've done instead is make a couple mp3s of white noise of different lengths, and put them every 15-25 minutes in my classical music playlists. So that way my brain can recognise music = work and no music = break, it's really soothing and keeps me on track well. (Also I use the Steven Universe intro after the breaks to get me pumped to work again.)
This is still the timer method, you have simply tweaked it to work with your particular brain. Good for you! That is a really important skill when you are neurodivergent. :)
