Ridley Scott adaptiert SF-Klassiker

Der ewige Krieg von Joe Haldeman gilt als einer der großen SF-Romane der 1970er, Das Studio Fox2000 hat bereits vor einiger Zeit die Rechte daran gekauft, doch bisher war noch unklar, wer Regie führen würde. Nun wurde offiziell bekannt gegeben, dass Ridley Scott diese Aufgabe übernehmen wird.

In dem Roman geht es um einen jungen Rekruten namens William, der gegen Lichtjahre entfernt lebende Außerirdische kämpfen muss. Obwohl er nur Monate älter wird, vergehen gleichzeitig auf der Erde Jahrzehnte. William wird zu einem Fremden in seiner Welt, und bei jeder Mission wird die Rückkehr schwieriger.

Wann Scott Der ewige Krieg drehen wird, steht noch nicht fest. Schließlich hat er auch noch Prometheus 2 und Blade Runner 2 vor sich.
